Nuna TRVL
The Nuna TRVL is a lightweight travel stroller designed for easy portability and convenience. It features a one-handed fold, compatibility with Nuna's Pipa car seat, and is suitable for children up to 50 pounds.
Pros (+)
- Lightweight and easy to carry
- One-handed fold is convenient
- Versatile for daily use in urban areas
Cons (−)
- May not fit taller children comfortably
- Doesn't fit well in airplane overhead bins
- Limited storage space compared to full-size strollers
Why parents like it
Parents praise the TRVL for its lightweight build and one-handed folding feature, making it ideal for travel. Many find it versatile enough for everyday use, especially in urban settings.
Common complaints
A notable concern is that the stroller may not accommodate taller children, with some parents saying their child outgrew it quickly. Additionally, several parents report that it does not fit well in airplane overhead compartments.
Parents looking for a compact stroller for travel and city use. The tradeoff is that it may not be the best long-term option for taller toddlers.
The Nuna TRVL is a solid choice for parents seeking a lightweight travel stroller, but its height limitations may be a dealbreaker for some.

Thread: "Is Joolz stroller good for nyc?"
I’m a nanny who’s used many strollers, and the Joolz Aer is my favorite! I think you really need a one hand fold and a shoulder strap for the subway. I have the nuna travel for my son, which is a close second. You’ll see a ton of yo-yos, but I find them hard to fold up.
Thread: "Pros and Cons of Nuna TRVL?"
I love it and would choose it again just for the ease of folding! We have used it as our only stroller for 16 months and it’s still going strong. I did have to attach a cup holder for water bottles/snacks but I got a momcozy one that fits (I do have the nuna urbn car seat though, we used that for the first 6 months clipped into the stroller)
Thread: "Pros and Cons of Nuna TRVL?"
Oh yes, understood! To clarify, the TRVL would be our travel stroller. We plan on getting an Uppababy Cruz 3 for our full stroller.
Thread: "Pros and Cons of Nuna TRVL?"
Trvl is more of a travel stroller than a full stroller, but it has plenty of pros like its lightweight, one handed fold design, fairly compact. The only con i personally have with it is that the stroller seat cannot lay flat like a bassinet for a newborn for safe sleep. Therefore you would be stuck with the infant carseat which is not meant to be slept in beyond 2 hours. That was essentially the deal breaker for me since I wanted the lie flat feature for my newborn whenever we knew we were going to be out of the house for more than 2 hours.
Thread: "Travel stroller - babyzen yoyo2 vs. Uppababy minu v2"
IMO, the Minu has a not great push and the fold is terrible. Go with the Bugaboo Butterfly or Joolz Aer. Don't personally have the Butterfly but it's supposed to be great! Have an Aer which I bought after trying the Minu and hating the push. The Butterfly and Aer also have much higher backs than the Minu - Butterfly has the highest. Their folds are also better. Another option is the Nuna Trvl but I think the back isn't super high. ETA between the yoyo and Minu I'd go with the yoyo
Thread: "Looking for travel and quick errand stroller. Uppababy Minu v2 or nuna trvl?"
I LOVE my nuna trvl And use it as my regular stroller since it’s so lightweight. Hardly takes up any space in my trunk. In a pinch it can fit in the back seat if I bought a lot of groceries. If we walk somewhere to eat it tucks away nicely in a corner of a restaurant or under the table. Super easy to clean, fold etc. it doesn’t lay down all the way flat but my 1 year old doesn’t mind it goes down far enough for naps.

I recommend the Nuna triv over the trvl
Thread: "Please share any recommendations for a travel stroller ? "
I just went through alllll of this. Had the trvl for awhile but baby grew out of it within one year, it’s way too short in the head rest. After researching, went with the Joolz Aer+ and LOVE it. So beautiful, so small and light folded but functions like a full sized stroller. Bonus, it’s really pretty.
Thread: "Pros and Cons of Nuna TRVL?"
We have one and it’s been pretty rubbish from the start. Maybe they’ve shored it up, but ours is rickety and hasn’t held up well from very light use.
Thread: "Ergobaby Metro+ vs. Metro 3"
Hi, I actually have both the metro+ and I just got the metro 3. I traveled all around Japan with a 15-month-old with the metro+ so it’s not a bad travel or everyday stroller option by any means but I will say that the metro 3 has several features that make me like it more and are worth the additional price: - ease of folding / unfolding: I always struggled with the mechanism for the metro+, and never liked that sometimes I would have to use both hands; with the metro 3 I can easily fling it open with one - the canopy: the metro+ canopy is really glitchy which can also make it more inconvenient to use and the metro 3 canopy is expandable! - the wheels: either stroller actually has good wheels but so far metro 3 are smooth and their suspension is better than my other stroller (Nuna TRVL) - standing upright: the metro+ would often fall over in the trunk while the metro 3 has been holding more steady - newborn features: not sure if this is applicable to you now or later but the metro 3 has a whole new attachment / encasement for newborns that the metro+ doesn’t have There are more comparisons / reasons why, but honestly, the folding mechanism and the canopy were such deal breakers for me that I won’t be using the metro+ any more and have moved on to the 3. If it makes you feel any better it looks like metro + strollers have free returns if you decide to try that one first https://ergobaby.com/return-policy.

I love my nuna trvl! definitely recommend it.
Thread: "Travel strollers"
I also did a ton of research and am so glad I went with the Aer+. I tried out the Yoyo, Butterfly & Trvl in a store, and I just like the Aer better (there were no stores that carried it in my area, so I just had to order it and hope for the best). The steering is so smooth, and the fold is really easy. Honestly, my only regret is that I bought an expensive travel system to be my "main" stroller, and now I never use it because the Aer+ is just so convenient.
Thread: "Nuna trvl review"
I’ve got the nuna trvl - it’s solid and great as a day to day pram (particularly if you have a small car) as well as a travel pram. The one handed fold down is great and it comes with all the accessories / has pretty decent basket storage. The lie flat works well for sleep - the seat is probably not as straight up as standard prams. But (big but) it does not fit on a plane (they might tell you it could; but you can tell it’s bigger than other travel prams eg yo-yo etc). You’ll need to gate check it or check it in. Ultimately this hasn’t been a problem for me (the pram has gone on multitudes of short and long haul rides and still going strong) but I didn’t realise it when I bought it.
Thread: "Nuna Trvl Lx Thoughts?"
Obsessed w the Trvl. The only stroller you need in nyc. I have the original. Not sure what the Lx is. Make sure you get the one that folds up with the press if a button.

I switched from the Nuna Mixx to the Trvl for every day use for my 6 month old. I live in a suburb of Boston and drive everywhere. The Trvl is great for errands, going out to dinner, going for walks, etc. The only downside is the lack of storage under the seat but we make it work.

That's a crazy price, thanks for sharing!
Thread: "Travel Stroller Recommendations [ON]"
stokke Yoyo, bugaboo butterfly, ergobaby metro+ are a few that fit the overhead bin . I recommend checking the requirements for all airlines you're travelling with (including connecting flights), depending on the size of the plane some might be too big (i.e upabbaby minu & nuna TRVL are a bit larger).
Thread: "Best travel stroller? - been looking at the babyzen Yoyo, uppababy minu, or nuna travl"
i have a nuna trvl and i love it! the one hand fold is amazing.
Thread: "Looking for travel and quick errand stroller. Uppababy Minu v2 or nuna trvl?"
Go for one you can put in the overhead on a plane. Tried the Yoyo2, Bugaboo Ant and Bugaboo Butterfly. They all fit. Most airlines recognize the yoyo and allows it without asking any questions. The Ant is the best imo, bought it for a trip but ended up using it full time instead of our fullsize (unless you’re gonna encounter rough terrain). And its the only one of the three you can use both front and rear facing
Thread: "Pros and Cons of Nuna TRVL?"
I’m happy with ours. We mostly use it for packing in the car, going to the mall, routine visits to hospital, stuff like that. It makes me happy every time I fold and unfold it because it’s so easy. We don’t fly, and have a more bulky stroller for long walks and or rough terrain. As others have highlighted, a downside is lack of compatibility at the newborn stage.
Thread: "Help Choosing Between Nuna SWIV vs TRVL LX"
My (almost 3 year old) son is tall for his age and the TRVL has lasted MUCH longer for him than the Nuna MIXX. I don’t know much about the Swiv but just a data point that we love the TRVL and find it extremely versatile. You can also clip the Nuna infant seat onto it without any adapters, which is amazing.
Thread: "Pros and Cons of Nuna TRVL?"
Love ours. We also had a mockingbird from the start but barely used it until LO was over a year old. This was just so convenient and lightweight. We never tried to take it like over grass or uneven surfaces though
Thread: "Help Choosing Between Nuna SWIV vs TRVL LX"
We ended up getting the Nuna Mixx but the Swiv was the next obvious choice. We liked that the car seat attached directly to the frame and does not sit on the seat like I believe it does in the Trvl. It seemed the best option out of all the Nuna strollers. We didn’t get it because we are both tall and found the Mixx baby position to be almost 6” higher than the others and we don’t have a need for travel as much.
Thread: "Help Choosing Between Nuna SWIV vs TRVL LX"
I have the Swiv, but did not try the Trvl in store, so I can't give a comparison. I love the Swiv, but I'm in a very urban environment where the maneuverability is really important. If that wasn't the key feature for me, I don't know if I'd be as happy. The under carriage is usually jam packed with diaper bag, etc... But I'm often running errands with no car, so that might be different. It's also very sleek, but there's not a good place to clip a grocery bag, the cup holder, or dangly toys for the baby. I love the one handed open and close, and I will bring it with me to travel while baby is still in the infant seat, but after that I'm more likely to get a light umbrella stroller for travel.
Thread: "Nuna TRVL LX as only stroller?"
Hi are/were you concerned at all about the TRVL not being able to rotate and only allowing a forward facing seat?
Thread: "Travel Stroller Help!"
My wife and I spent weeks every weekend playing with strollers. We ended up picking up the Aer+! The fold is amazing and easy. And there’s storage for daysss My second pick was Jet 5 but the storage was too small. I thought the Jet 5 was so cool too. My wife’s second pick was the Butterfly. I personally thought the fold was not as smooth as the Aer+. It’s a small detail but every detail counts IMO when there’s a screaming child in your arms as you’re navigating a grocery store lol. Though our second pick differs, I’m glad our first pick was the Aer+. Keep in mind though that the Aer+ doesn’t have a lot of rotating car seats in USA that is compatible with it. Not sure if that’s a deal breaker for you. If rotating car seats is a must have, get the Jet 5 because of its car adapters. Nuna Trvl won’t fit on airplanes btw. Need to checked in.
Thread: "Travel Stroller Help!"
Oooh, interesting point on Nina Trvl, we were almost ready to purchase it!
Thread: "Best travel stroller for Europe"
Nuna TRVL works with the Pipa and their products are generally great. How old is your kiddo? We have a Babyjogger city tour 2 and used that + a travel carseat pretty early on (but we always checked our carseat, never carried it on, so we didn't care about the carseat working with the travel stroller.
Thread: "Travel stroller decision fatigue"
We did the same thing. Wife wanted a nuna mix and was convinced she needed the big bulky stroller. After we put it in the trunk a few times whoops, no we need a travel one (edit, to be clear we are getting a travel one IN ADDITION TO the nuna mixx next, the nuna is a great bit of hardware and we spend a lot of time on walks outdoors and on cobblestone sidewalks in our area; need the bigger stroller) We looked at the trvl for the sake of staying in the nuna family but ultimately we’re getting the bugaboo butterfly. There’s a guy on YouTube who reviews these things unbiased and likes it a LOT better than the trvl, I’m not going to over think it 🤷♂️ Price is right, looks like it’s sturdy, easy fold, fits small. adapter process to work it with the nuna carseat doesn't look too cumbersome
Thread: "For anyone considering the Nuna TRVL stroller - quick review"
Quick question, looked at them today. Does the sun shade fold back onto the handle bar? This bothered me at the store and I wasn’t sure if it was a mistake or not. But literally the shade was on the handle bar when folded up.

I took the minu to Ireland last September and it was perfect. My SIL brought her Trvl and it was more awkward.
