Thread: "Incredibly dumb question - are the $800+ cribs worth it?"
I’m in the minority here but we got an $800 Nestig that I feel like was worth it. The mini crib function was amazing initially and we were able to easily bring it from the bedroom to the living room in those early postpartum days. My kid has been a crib sleeper since the beginning so we definitely get our use out of it and I’m confident it’ll stay nice if we use it for a second kid. Also I wanted something that fit the vibe of our house/looked really nice since we’ll use it for years and it definitely does.

🙋🏽♀️ the mini crib is so freaking cute and I’m going to be sad when we have to make it the full size. I love wheeling my baby everywhere lol it’s been really convenient for us and I love that we didn’t have to buy a bassinet! Plus, it was easy to put together

We went with Nestig too! The mini crib was the perfect size to fit in our room. Love it
Thread: "Nestig Crib, worth it?"
I know this thread is older but wanted to provide additional perspective for those finding this later. We also have the cloud crib and have used the mini and full size crib. We were able to roll the mini crib on carpet and through doorways no issue. However, we’ve had so many issues with the craftsmanship of the full size crib, that I can’t recommend it. Their customer service is fantastic and always sent us new pieces, but as a mom with a baby, it is such a pain to have to keep rebuilding the crib over and over. The first issue we had was when we went to lower the crib height- the holes where you put the screws in were sloppily painted and paint was chipping off. They sent us new side rails but looks like this one would have the same issue in the future. The second issue we have is that the mattress support has no support beams. This caused it to gradually sag in the center and then start squeaking anytime my child moved. Again, they sent us a replacement piece, but I’m guessing it’s only a matter of time before the same thing happens with the new one.
Thread: "Crib vs mini crib"
The nestig mini crib is a lot smaller than other popular mini cribs (e.g babyletto). I too wouldn’t recommend the nestig mini crib for a long time but I’d look into some longer ones
