I have the nestig wave and I love it! It’s on wheels and goes from a bassinet to regular crib to toddler bed. It is a little pricey but it’s beautiful and will get us through many stages

Thank you! I definitely was intrigued by nestig at first but determined it probably wasn’t worth the price tag

Hey I'd also be interested in hearing what you went with, I'm still strongly considering returning the Nestig. I'm just letting it sit in the middle of my loving room while I contemplate what to do with it.

W splurged too and went with the Nestig Wave. I agree about the mini bedding but I loved wheeling it around the house! I just wish it didn’t have curved sides because I wanted to sidecar it and couldn’t.

We got the nestig wave and love it.

I’ve decided I like the Nestig Wave, and I’m going to stop looking at others because I get v bad decision fatigue and know I’m going to spend ages trying to pick a travel system!! The only downside is the mini crib is a unique size so it might be hard to find sheets. But I’ve seen some cute muslin ones on Etsy designed to fit it so I’m going to grab some of those. Then, the reg crib is standard size so it’ll be easier from there.

We also bought a nestig because I drag that basinette all over the house to actually get stuff done. If the crib makes it to the toddler bed function I feel like I won. Also it’s pretty cute and I don’t think I’ll hate looking at it in 5 years.

FTM- and we have the Nestig Wave and we LOVE it! My almost 6 week old sleeps so well in the mini crib so far and it fits so well in our limited space bedroom. Also their customer service is PHENOMENAL. We had an issue with one part and they sent us the shipping info of the replacement part the same day we reached out to them.

Second this. I bought a naturopedic mattress to go with it. Hopefully it all fits like a glove!
Thread: "Nestig Crib, worth it?"
We got the babyletto origami mini crib but considered the nestig wave. We don’t have enough space for another bed or even a full size crib in our 1 bedroom apartment and likely won’t be able to afford a 2 bed in our area anytime soon so the “converts to toddler bed” is worthless to us. Baby will probably end up cosleeping with us after 12 months. I don’t think a mini crib is a good substitute for a bassinet. If I were you I’d just get the bassinet first and then full size crib that can convert to toddler bed after.

I was eying it when we first started TTC in 2022, so by the time we got pregnant last year, I was like “well the look held up where I still love it so I’ll probably still love it in another few years.” I did look for cheaper options but honestly having the mini crib function saved us on buying/storing a separate bassinet so I justified it that way 😅

I am getting ready to go for round two in mine. I’ve also convinced several people to get one. They’re responsibly manufactured and have a small footprint. The quality is really great and I look forward to passing mine on.

Thanks for the review! I felt the same way about our Nestig and I returned it. The reviews made it seem like it was some premium crib but it was just okay. I didn’t like that the mini crib was so far down. I’m not even tall but it’s quite a reach to grab baby. I ended up returning it and getting another crib that was way less and is perfectly fine.

I love my Nestig as well. It was the only crib small enough for our space too

I have the Nestig and have been using it over a year now. I agree with the odors and construction. However, to get something truly handmade would cost much more, unless you know someone. Also, crib construction has certain regulations. I really loved that the wave had wheels because in those early days gently rocking the crib was a life saver. Also, the mini crib was very easy to move room to room - we don't have stairs. All in all, I think the construction is like you said, a nice Ikea product. Would I buy a different crib? No, probably not, because I was really pleased with the exception of the odors...we bought the crib before the baby came and washed the mini crib mattress and tried to off-gass it as well. At the end of the day, it worked well and was within our budget.

We got one of these too! It’s very sturdy and made from real wood not particle board.
