Thread: "Do not buy the Nanit baby monitor"
We love ours and have loved it since our first baby was born. We got one for our second kid after trying to go with a cheaper WiFi monitor and ended up switching to Nanit. I don’t feel the need to always have the kids showing on my phone so it doesn’t impact my battery. Also, we have the Amazon show and you can link the monitor to that if you want continuous visibility or the ability to listen. When we’ve had babysitters, it’s nice to be able to pull up the kids on our phones while we’re out to check in. I could see how the ability to travel could be annoying. For my older kid, I accidentally broke the original stand and had to get one of the flex stands which I think would be better for travel since it’s small and gives full visibility of a room.

I love my nanit. I think about how much I love it in a daily basis. Without it, it would be impossible to track my baby's sleep, his wake windows, how long it takes him to fall asleep when I put him in his crib. Without it, sleep training would have been sooooo much more difficult. We also use the flex stand when we are traveling.

Yep we use the flex stand and have traveled many, many times with it.
Thread: "Which Baby Monitor??!!"
We really like the Nanit too. It does use wifi, but my partner took extra measures to secure things to avoid hacks. I wish it had its own receiver, for that we just use an old iPhone. Edit: if you get it, get the bundle with the floor stand, it’s been a game changer, having the Birds Eye view of our baby from overhead

We stayed in a suite style hotel with family that had a bedroom LO slept in. It was really nice to use the Nanit on the flex stand for her naps. However the wifi was an issue so we had to connect my husbands computer, set up a hotspot, and connect the Nanit to that
Thread: "Nanit baby monitor reviews?"
Probably. I was like 30 seconds away from getting the flex stand and travel case a month ago when it was super on sale so we could use at families’ houses, but then I realized id need to disassemble the wall mount and put it back together every time we moved it, so I ended up not getting it. I think if I had the floor mount version, I’d also get the flexstand/travel one for cases like that!

We have the Nanit and I like it more than I thought it would. We also bought the breathing monitor and flex stand and am very happy with the purchase now (don’t tell my husband 😂)
