Thread: "Crib vs Mini Crib"
Similar situation here and the only real options are a mini crib or a pack and play. The pack and play involves a lot more bending and not nearly as comfortable for the baby. So we opted for a mini crib. It is definitely more spacious than I realized and our dude is gonna be fine in it for a long time! He’s already taller than the mini crib is wide (he’s tall for his age) and now that he rolls/move a ton he has occasionally gotten stuck sideways and I have to help in the middle of the night. But we’re only a week in to using it and I think he’ll get better at troubleshooting over time. I do recommend trying to find a good deal on a mini crib (lots of affordable ones) and splurging on the mattress. The one that comes with the mini cribs tend to be trash.
Thread: "Mini crib vs. regular size crib?"
I was just reading about this approach! It seems really difficult for me with 2 dogs when the baby is so little, but as they get older it seems to make a ton of sense
Thread: "Mini crib?"
We have a small space and I went through a bunch of different options. The snoo didn’t work for us so I ended up with the bedside bassinet that attaches to the bed. We then transitioned naps to a pack and play which is the size of a mini crib and my son slept in that until about 18 months. He probably could have slept in it longer but we were ready to transition him to a bigger toddler bed for naps. We also had a mini crib but he just never slept in it but totally could fit. Net net - I’m team mini crib!!
