Another vote for Love to Dream, especially if your baby likes to sleep arms up and if they have a strong startle reflex. They’re also good as they are roomy around the hips so baby has room inside it. They sell transition bags with zips on the arms so you can unzip and free baby’s arms whilst they’re still in the sleeping bag if you need to, we bought a load of these ones, as you can continue to use these ones once they start to roll.

Seconding this! My baby LOVES her love to dream sleep sack and I loved that they also have transitional ones for when bb started to roll. We just zipped off the sleeps and now she uses it as a regular sleep sack. High quality too and I’ve found doesn’t warp.

I personally don’t like swaddling with a blanket - it’s just not as safe (in my opinion). I used the SwaddleMe Easy Change Swaddles until 8 weeks (he started rolling / trying to break out) so we switched to the Love to Dream Swaddle Transition Bag / Halo Sleep Sack / Kyte Baby Sleep Sack. Love them all but we use the Love to Dream and Kyte Baby ones the most! He is 4 months now and does well with them both.

We started with the Love to Dream transition bag which was basically a cold turkey approach. Unzip the sleeves and within 30 minutes baby is crying. It did not go well. Our little guy who had been sleeping great, did not sleep well for 2 nights. Then, a friend told me about the SwaddleDesigns Transitional Swaddle Sack. Thankfully, Amazon delivered same day. It was a life saver. Our baby slept great the first night with no issues. The arms up sleeves worked as advertised. He was happy, we were thrilled. Not sure how long we used the sack, but I think it was about 8 weeks (yes, we bought 2 more). Given our personal experience, we have talked to many friends and recommended the Transitional Swaddle Sack and without exception, success! Do not hesitate, you will be thankful for the sleep.

I second the love to dream! Super easy for middle of the night diaper changes as it’s a double zipper and zipper in general. My baby loves it but I can also see how some babies may hate it since it holds their arms up next to their face

My son loved the arms up love to dream suits as well. I was stressing over taking his arms out so I bought the transition suit and started with his first nap taking 1 arm out. He was fine. I took both his arms out that night and he was fine. We never looked back. Obviously for some kids it’s different but I definitely put way too much thought / energy into it and it ended up being super easy for us

We used the love to dream. It helped because even as a newborn he would wiggle and try to free his arms. Note: you cannot use the Love To Dream arms up swaddle when baby shows signs of rolling (usually around 3 months). Love to Dream has a transition sack where the “arms up sleeves” zip off. We used that because it still had the tightness around the mid section but his arms were free in case he rolled.
