My son was born at 5lb 6oz and also did the “newborn curl.” The pediatrician and internet told me it was normal but it still scared me and we switched to a sleep sack pretty early. We had the Halo and did arms out and once he was closer to 7lbs we switched to the Kyte sleep sack in size XS and it fit well.

Halo and Kyte for us too! We used Halo for sleep sacks as well so we didn’t use Woolino but we are also in New England so Kyte was great in the winter

We started with the Halo sleep sack swaddles. He started busting an arm out so he could sleep like a Roman senator (seriously, he looked like he was wearing a toga). When he started to roll we just wrapped the swaddle part loosely under his armpits. We also have a couple of the Burts Bees cotton sleep sacks that I really like so far. I recently got one of Kyte sleep sacks on sale but I haven’t tried it yet. It does annoy me that it can’t go in the dryer and it’s thicker than I expected.

I agree with this. We went from swaddle to Yoofoss sleep sack and it went pretty smoothly, just a couple tough nights of multiple wakes and then back to normal.

My little one is younger than yours and is in a KYTE sleep sack already because he wasn't able to easily poop or poot in the swaddle. I have his arms out and it's working great (I do have an owlet sock too). This sleep sack was gifted to me and is so soft but is expensive. I ordered one from Quince as it's cheaper but it hasn't arrived yet.

I used them to help transition to the crib! I made sure the "wing" portion was out and not trapped under her back, and she was full arms out but not rolling yet. I felt like she loved the familiarity and this way it wasn't as much of a shock going from the snoo to the crib. I eventually transitioned to a Kyte sleep sack and then a Woolino. By eventually, I mean a week or so, as we'd start with using it for 1 nap, then all of the naps, and then a few days after working through naps, I swapped it out for nights.
