I have a halo swivel sleeper that was gifted to me. It isn’t the one that vibrates or anything. I love it! Super easy to move where I need it to be and has a side that drops for easy access

Here to say, I have the same one and it’s great! Only thing I don’t like is the base/legs.

I had the more basic swivel one. It had the lights, sounds and vibration features but it wasn’t wifi. I enjoyed it. The swivel feature was great. The other stuff is pretty on par with the other commenters. Unless your bed frame is off the floor, you won’t get it close enough. The x for the base is also a good toe stubber. If you can buy it second hand like it did. It’s worth it for sure. I got it reasonably priced off market place.
Thread: "Bassinet"
I had a halo swivel sleeper that we got from a friend. It got all tilted and wonky and my son would roll to the side and get squished in it. I kept it for this baby but finally got out the level to see if it really was slanted, and sure enough it's very slanted. It's just a thin piece of particle board supported in one portion so it gets warped over time, especially if you live in a humid climate. You can check on TikTok and see all the other people complaining about this. Anyway I threw it in the trash tonight and will be buying another one. I actually did use it regularly until I graduated my son into a pack n play when he got too big. I don't want to have to worry about leaning over that much after giving birth though.

Loved our halo swivel sleeper! We would detach the bassinet from the base and carry it around the house so our baby had a safe space to sleep whenever we wanted to put him down throughout the day. My son slept in it for 6 months and we definitely plan to use it for our next baby.
Thread: "SnuzPod5 or Newton Bedside Bassinet"
We were exploring the same exact options + halo swivel sleeper but we ended up getting a newton bedside bassinet. We didn't experience the mattress tilting.. In fact, it pretty much kept its shape throughout the entire use so we highly recommend it. We didn't get the SnuzPod5 because we were worried about the smell too, and we ended up not getting the swivel since I realized I didn't want the swivel feature.

So I had the swivel sleeper, it’s massive, extremely heavy as well. Stubbed my toe so many times. At 2 weeks we had to get a Snoo because my Lo would only contact sleep (on my chest) and I was dying. Snoo saved our lives BUT I’d only get one if your LO won’t sleep in a regular bassinet. I recommend getting a second hand bassinet of any sort, if all fails get a used Snoo. No point buying new. But yes all bassinets have a short life span hence makes sense to buy used.

I have the Halo Swivel Sleeper. Why? My friend was selling hers for $70. I didn't look into any other options. It functions. Kids are expensive, used is great considering the temporary use we will get out of it.
