I really like the Iora. It's big, it's got great visibility, and I've always found it very sturdy. I'm not sure how people are finding it so tilty their babies end up pressed against the mesh? Like my son presses his face against it occasionally, but he has to work to get into that position.

I don’t buy anything on amazon that is only available on Amazon or is an Amazon brand. Most of the recalls on the cpsc list are items that are soley sold on amazon. Buy a reputable brand. We chose the maxi cosj iora and loved it

I came here to say the exact same thing. Our girl ends up with her face in the mesh almost every night but she makes it her life goal to get there. I also love how easy is to assemble and disassemble. We use it for travelling, too.

The maxi cosi iora bassinet. I freaking love it, my kid has slept in it every night of her life. I’m crushed that we’ll outgrow it soon.

We used the [Maxi Cosi Iora](https://a.co/d/1jbUg5V) bassinet and my daughter loved it! She slept amazing and the storage under was convenient.

We have a maxi cosi Iora that we bought used. It's great! Baby sleeps well in it (7weeks) and it's not that heavy, we move it between bedroom-living room twice a day.

We loved our Iora from Maxi Cosi. Easy to pack up and bring. We did it three times. Only thing is ordering sheets for it is difficult. I found a seller on Etsy that used Muslin cotton and they fit perfectly. We had 2 other families use the same seller for their Maxi Cosi as well. Our kiddo made it almost 6 months in the bassinet.

Same here, it’s large and sturdy. My baby has not really hit the mesh at all and he’s 9 weeks. Maybe the people who say it’s tilted did not assemble it correctly?

We got the maxi cosi Iora. It’s a lot bigger than the other ones we saw on the market. Plus the basket underneath was so handy keeping stuff for emergency diaper changes, toys etc. It’s also height adjustable and side to side adjustable too. It doesn’t swivel, but we felt like we didn’t need that feature

Also love the Iora! Baby has never ended up against the mesh.

We used this comfortably for a lot longer than most bassinets and it was the ONLY place my girl slept. It folds super flat and fits in a travel bag. Worth the money, in my opinion.

Love the maxi cosi! It’s also bigger than a lot of other bassinets so you can get a little more use out of it if you have tall babies!

Maxi cosi Iora and love it!!!!! It also can be used longer than other bassinets from what I've seen.

What do you think of Maxi Cosi as a brand? Do you have any other of their products? I am looking at an infant car seat they make (Maxi Cosi Micro+ Luxe) but it has so-so reviews on Amazon.

Maxi Cosi Iora. Love it. It's so big/deep, has storage and it's gorgeous. It also had different height settings and can slide to different settings on the base too, to come closer to the bed. The bassinet is all mesh sides so no worries when rolling. Its completely breathable. I have it against the wall beside the bed but not directly beside otherwise I wouldn't be able to get out of bed. So its about a foot away and down a bit so I can still get out of bed. Baby girl is 8 weeks old and sleeping 7-8 hour stretches in it.

Check out the reviews for the Newton and Maxi cozy Iora. The tilting thing with the Newton is a big deal; safety comes first. Lots of parents like simple and strong stuff over fancy tech. You might want to check out borncritic for some side-by-side comparisons and guides on bassinets. It could help you figure out what’s safe and reliable...

I have the maxi cosi iora but I find it so annoying that it doesn’t have the drop down like the skip hop. Honestly, if you live close to the border, order the newton one and have it shipped to a PO Box there. It’s large and has a drop down for an easier time to pick up your baby, your back will thank you!

The reason why it’s not sold in Canada is because Canada guidelines are anally strict for no good reason. Babies sleep fine in the newton in the US and a few of my friends have them here in Canada. If you’re so concerned, you can zip the drop down panel up

Maxi-Cosi Iora!!! Loved it! Doesn’t have any features- but neither do cribs so 🤷♀️
Thread: "Best bassinet?"

We got the maxi cosi iora and it’s deeeeep. But big. And nice storage underneath. It was alright.
Thread: "Help me pick a bassinet!"
Does it need sheets? I have one on the way and didn’t even think about sheets.
Thread: "Bassinet suggestions [ON]"
Agreed - we had the Halo and just HATED it! This bassinet is wonderful!

Glad to hear the positive reviews for the Iora. Do you put a sheet on the mattress? Or how do you clean the mattress?

I got the maxi cosi iora bedside crib for both my kids (going to use it for the third time now) it’s amazing. I didn’t like the idea of my babies getting shaken to sleep each time. During the day I used the 4moms mamaroo it’s a bit expensive but so worth it especially when they get fussy the motions helps calm them down. Mamaroo is not for sleeping though if I see them nod off on it I take them out. Having a dockatot is important to me too so far I’ve bought 2 for my kids I literally use them all the time if they’re not in their baby crib.
Thread: "If your newborn slept decently well between MOTN feeds, which bassinet did you use?"
slept through the night by 2 months? Maxi-Cosi Iora. We are now transitioning to the crib, so wish us luck!
