Thread: "Lightweight/travel stroller recommendations, please!"
I bought the Cybex libelle recently on sale, haven't used it yet since I'm due this week. Hoping to go on some adventures with my little one. It folds up so itty bitty (overhead bin!) and pushed pretty smoothly around the house, I read in reviews that it might not be great on rougher terrain but that's the trade off with the compact size. I have the bumbleride indie for my main stroller.

It doesn’t fit anything on your list, but we got the Cybex Libell for our twins when we went to Europe and loved how small it folded.
Thread: "Japan travel stroller and crib for infant"
I actually lived in Japan and we had the Cybex Libelle for travel when my daughter was a toddler. I think it’s actually related to the pockit but maybe a bit more comfortable. Most hotels there will provide cribs. I would t travel with one. Japan is very child friendly. Airports and shopping centers have push chairs as well. If your child tolerates it I would use a carrier as much as you can. Especially in older or populated areas.

If you’re still debating and money is a factor, the Cybex Libelle 2 (2024 new edition) is on sale for $199! Normally $299. I researched a lot and the GB pockit+ All-City is pretty much the Cybex Libelle 2, but cheaper materials. They are owned by the same company. Cybex Libelle has better and sturdier materials. https://amzn.to/3Y9xErE

(For future readers) We use a different version of the GB pockit and while it never actually feels sturdy, it has made it through many European cities (including Rome) and has done just fine. We did need to have two adults so one person could lift the front up and down off/on sidewalks at times. But, I’m happy with how compact it is and durable it has been for 2 years now. We are able to easily stow it on the plane, and even in a small restaurant under the table on a recent trip. I am not entire sure what we’ll do when our youngest (1) isn’t carried by us and we want both him and our toddler in a stroller. We are considering a second travel stroller and debating a different brand or just sticking with this.

But also Brain fart because I’m just waking up and having coffee. The Nuna does not fit in a lot of overhead compartments. Some, but not a lot. the Libelle it’s also a decent option like you had mentioned, but it does not feel as sturdy as these other products. That doesn’t mean it is flimsy, but because of all the joints in it that it needs to fold you can feel a difference.

The Cybex Libelle is the same stroller but made with better materials. Both are excellent for travel and thr fold up real small for any cabin as baggage.

Thread: "Baby Yo-yo2, bugaboo butterfly or joolz aer?"
I bought the bugaboo butterfly and carried it onto a southwest flight. I looked into all three of the strollers you listed before buying. Yes, the butterfly is slightly bigger compared to the other two but all three were actually bigger than the carry dimensions listed on the southwest website. If carrying on your stroller is important to you, id factor in your airlines dimensions in your decision. If you are looking for more of a guarantee on folded dimensions for air travel, id look into the cybex libelle or gb pockit all city/ all terrain. Theres so much baby gear that we had to take for our trip. If I didn’t have help, I would have wanted the most compact as possible.
Thread: "Recommendations for a stroller that's for an 8mo and fits overhead compartment on a plane? "
I have the cybex Libelle. Love it. Folds small and is suitable for 6+ months. Has a basket on bottom too and they make a tote carry bag for it
Thread: "Travel stroller that fits in overhead compartment? [AB]"
We have the Cybex libelle, folds up super small and fits in the overhead bin. Our baby is about 3 months old though and we have the Cybex infant car seat so the libelle comes with adaptors for the Aton infant car seat We bought our travel stroller on FB marketplace if that helps with managing costs! You’re only going to use it a few times any ways I imagine (not as frequently as your primary stroller) so could be a better route

I have a Cybex libelle which is in the same family as the gb. Ultracompact, always get the impressed reactions from people when I fold and unfold it lol. It has been extremely useful for flights, doctors appointments (it’s so narrow it fits in small spaces), shopping etc. My only problem was that one day I was getting off from the Uber and was busy unbuckling baby and before I knew it the Uber driver didn’t know that this isn’t a super strong stroller and he hung a heavy large bag on it and now it feels a bit flimsy - like it could break soon (although it’s been a year since and it hasn’t). If I could travel back in the past I would’ve splurged for the Babyzen yo-yo so that I could have that sturdy factor.
Thread: "Cybex libelle vs orfeo"

No doubt, the Cybex Libelle is really popular for a reason, it’s small, lightweight, and designed to fit in most overhead compartments, which makes traveling way easier. It also has good comfort features for your baby. If you’re open to checking out more options, [here’s a thread](https://www.reddit.com/r/KeepThisInMind/comments/1lwth3i/need_a_best_cheap_travel_stroller_under) that reviews several travel strollers so you can find one that suits your family and budget best.

Hi! Found this thread as I'm also looking into the Cybex Libelle for regular transatlantic flying. May I ask which one you went for in the end?
Thread: "Travel stroller for 5 months old -Gb pockit vs Cybex Libelle"
Pretty much this. I just bought a 2024 Libelle after checking it in the shop. It definitely feels less flimsy than the previous version, and the fabric materials are waaaay nicer. The original one felt like a cheap backpack, while the new one is light and smooth. It also has the cybex one-pull harness system (like in the car seats). Maneuverability also felt smoother in the shop and at home. We compared it with a GB Qbit+ and the old Libelle, and the new got definitely a good upgrade, which we were surprised to not read more about online.

I would also like a comparison between the the Cybex libelle 2 and the My Babiie MBX5 ultra compact stroller. The My babiie one is significantly cheaper, folds the same and seems to have better wheels since they are double wheels. Only thing is there is no back recline at all so if that’s a big deal for you then you won’t like the my babiie one
Thread: "Strollers while travelling"
Many travel strollers do not officially meet the airline dimensions. I have the Cybex Libelle which is the GB Pockit All City. Most GB Pockits fold up smaller than many other travel strollers. They don’t have 1 hand fold. The cheapest one doesn’t have some features like recline and you need to watch the model names, +, is a different model than without it.
Thread: "Stroller for Disneyland: Cybex Libelle 2 vs Ergobaby Metro Plus"
For what a trip like this, Libelle all the way. Our son by the age of 3 didn't like being in a stroller too much at fun places. I don't know how Disney is about wagons, but I would have gone with a Veer wagon over a stroller had I known how awesome they were for the kid. We had to take our son to the Renaissance Festival with a wagon after he hurt his foot right before. He was 6 last year when this happened. The wagon was super easy for him to get in and out of with not having to strap him in. The challenge with a stroller in general past a certain age is they don't like being strapped in when they want to jump out and look at things all the time. Understandable, but I was like "ok I won't strap you in, but you need to let me know if you want me to stop". He jumped out of the stroller multiple times with no warning, and he got run into by the stroller almost every time. A wagon we didn't run into these issues with him at Ren Fest, and he had a blast with all the space. All of that being said, I just looked it up and it appears Disney does NOT allow wagons. But outside of the specific use case at Disney, your 3-year old may like a wagon for places like the zoo or beach vs a stroller. I would have switched to a wagon around the age of 3 vs a stroller had I known how much better he got along with the wagon vs thinking the stroller was a prison.

We bought the cybex libelle 2 for Japan which is similar to the Pockit. Right now my Lo is 8 months old by the time we go to Japan she will be 13 months old. now she rides it in big and doesn’t look so comfortable. By 1 year old does the child sit better in the pockit?
Thread: "Travel Stroller recommendation"
Check the specific dimensions of the airline restrictions. We just did United with a Cybex Libelle and had no problems. It’s certainly not as comfy as our daily stroller (kiddo slouched and I missed having a cupholder!), but it was good enough and a lifesaver fire making tight layovers. If you’re travelling with children young enough to use a stroller, you’re able to do early boarding when there’s still plenty of room. The stroller in overhead + a diaper/toy/snack bag under the seat is the child’s luggage allotment. You may need to clarify with cabin crew that it’s an ultracompact that fits in the overhead compartment and you’re not gate checking, but no one gave us any grief.
