I have used the BabyBjorn bouncer and some really cheap bouncers, but not the Baby Delight. The BabyBjorn really is way, way better than the regular cheap bouncers. It’s much easier to bounce and the baby can get it going themselves without much effort. Cheap bouncers just don’t have much motion. It’s night and day. We are still using the BB at 9 months because you can adjust it to sit up more but the cheap ones wouldn’t be useful anymore because they lay too flat. An example of the cheap bouncer I’m talking about would be the Bright Starts one. The Baby Delight one looks a lot closer to the BB one so it might be just as good. The fabric on the BB is washable, so we got ours used. If you can’t find one for a good price, I’d do the Baby Delight. Babylist says it’s a good dupe of the BB so I’d be willing to give it a shot.

So I didn't buy mine new but got it for half off from a consignment store. The frame is much sturdier and the fabric seat of the baby Bjorn is designed better than the Bright Starts bouncer I bought off Amazon for my parents' house. The Baby Bjorn holds them better and can be more accommodating for a longer baby. I found the bright starts bouncer to be more shallow and not as sturdy. The folding flat feature is also excellent if you don't have a ton of space or if you bring the bouncer with you. I will say that our favorite bouncer is one that is no longer made by Fisher Price that I got off of Facebook Marketplace. It was taller and deeper and had vibration and sounds. My son never fell asleep in bouncers so I was comfortable using it as he was always awake and never unattended.

We don’t have the baby bjorn one but just the cheap Walmart Bright Starts one (she loves it) and we also call this her toilet! I can’t count how many times I’ve had to wash the darn thing from poop blow outs. Like clockwork!

I have a bright stars bouncer from Amazon that was like maybe $30 and my little one adores it. I was gifted a baby bjorn bouncer that lives at my MILs house and she likes it too. I don’t know if you need to splurge on the expensive one if a cheaper one gets the job done. But if you want the fancy one, I agree with others who say to find it used

You could not bribe my first born to be placed in any type of baby bouncer or swing. Hated all of them with a screaming tiny potato fury.
