We have the ergobaby one which is the same price point but I got it on prime day plus used my registry discount so it was only 100 but my god I would have paid the full 200 with how much that thing has saved me in a pinch when I need to shower, wash bottles, etc.

We have the Ergobaby bouncer, which is similar. We also had a baby that only liked to be held and unfortunately we only use the bouncer occasionally, like if we needed a moment to use the bathroom. He didn't want to just hang out in it and it isn't really safe for naps. Now that he's crawling, he has no interest in it at all, so I think in retrospect I would have just gotten a cheap bouncer!

I don't have the baby bjorn, but I do have the ergobaby bouncer. At the time I had researched them i found them to be similar (someone correct me if I am wrong) and liked the positioning of the ergobaby. The ergobaby was also cheaper (especially when on sale). I recently bought an additional one for $180 on Amazon. It happened to be on sale and then I stacked my registry completion discount. I paid about the same last Black Friday on the ergobaby website for our original one! Especially in the newborn days it was a lifesaver!

Just adding onto this - while the ergobaby is a larger bouncer, the weight max for it is also higher (I believe it’s 30lbs) so may be something to consider if your baby is on the larger side. BUT babybjorn is super easy to fold down and pack up to visit family etc, not sure how the Ergobaby is for travelling? 100% think a bouncer is necessary - was super useful the first few months as a safe space to put baby where they could still see/be apart of things like when you’re cooking, eating dinner etc. Also nice angle to chat/read/sing etc with LO. Another added bonus is it was truly great for helping baby pass gas/poop when it otherwise is quite painful for them. We got our babybjorn off FB marketplace for around $100 and it’s been great! Would recommend shopping around second hand if you can!

Also got the ergobaby one! I won’t lie I really wanted the baby bjorn one but I truly cannot live with the price tag. As Black Friday and Boxing Day both came and went, baby bjorn never had sales on the bouncer I wanted (I didn’t like the mesh one) and Ergobaby did so I bought it. Of course I can’t compare it but the cover is washable and our newborn likes it so I’d say I’m happy with it! I will say I think in general baby bjorn have more resale value. I don’t think I really see the Ergobaby one on the local market place here but we do plan on having another so it’ll be used for awhile.

I love the Ergobaby bouncer! I haven’t used anything else so can’t compare, but it’s really easy to use and bub loves sitting in it. Even my dog loves it - she thinks it’s her new bed!

My sister just called me to tell me about a mom in her workout class that came in, set up the Ergo bouncer next to her mat, strapped baby in, and took the class -- easy peasy! I was planning on getting the Bjorn bouncer when babe is a couple of months old, but after her call, finding this post, and looking at the Ergo site, I love how it fits newborns and grows with the babe. I have the ergobaby bouncer as well and my LO loves it! We bought the mobile for it as well so there's some dangly stuffed animals for her to play with. Now that she's learned to kick she likes to kick the little critters hanging from the mobile

I have a preemie so I bought the Ergobaby bouncer for the newborn insert. She loves it and it seems to help with her flat spot too. It’s easy to buckle her in and looks good.
