Thread: "Convertible cribs worth it?"

We bought a convertible crib by Babyletto. It just went from a crib to a toddler bed though. We haven’t had to swap out the mattress. My son is four and still uses it in the toddler configuration. It sounds like many of his classmates also are still sleeping in convertible cribs as toddler beds. We will probably get him a larger bed in the next couple of months.

Thread: "What is the best convertible crib for first time parents?"

We also have a babyletto convertible crib. My first used it as a crib and then toddler bed until he was 4. Then his brother was born so we convert it back to a crib and now the baby uses it. No issues with it whatsoever, it is a sturdy piece of furniture.

We got a Babyletto convertible crib, too! My son is 3.5 and still going strong in the daybed. We’ll get him in a twin bed when he turns 4 so we can convert this back to a crib for our second, but he totally could’ve slept comfortably in it longer if we weren’t doing that. One thing to note is that the finish scratches really easily on ours, and it looks like the same finish as yours. As a baby my son would stand up and literally chew on the top of the crib and there are teeth marks all over like a little dinosaur went to town on it lol. But otherwise it totally holds up!

Will you have another baby that will need a crib? I have a convertible crib but depending on when our second arrives, we may just keep the crib for #2 and get a full bed for our first.

lol! I suppose these types of things are meant to be lived in. They’re just tooth shaped reminders of a time past!
