Thread: "Which high chair?"

I got the uppababy ciro as my girl has super chunky legs.. every time I lift her out of the IKEA ones used in restaurants, her chubby little legs grip onto the chair and so the chair lifts up with her 🫠 I used a knockoff tripp trapp (mocka) for my son, which was good but still a pain to get his legs in and out of until he was big enough to remove the belly bar (2yo). With the uppababy Ciro there is no belly bar built in, so I can just plop my fat lil baby in the chair and then put the tray on or push her up to the table.. super easy to get her out too! It also has a built in foot rest which flips to lower as her legs grow longer.

uppababy ciro is fantastic! we had the tripp trap originally and I hated everything about it so we switched around 8mo and super glad we did. still happy with it now at 16mo. it is true that the footrest is too low for probably most babies under 1. you could add something on top of the footrest to bring it up to where their feet are, though? we didn’t bother and it was totally fine.

We really like our uppababy ciro! The legs don’t stick out far, everything wipes down easily and it goes with the aesthetic of our house πŸ˜†

I haaaaaaaate our uppababy ciro and wish I’d just bought the cheap Kmart or IKEA chair with nibble and rest foot rest.
