Is something uncomfortable on your Lille carrier? Or is baby uncomfortable? In general you want a carrier with a wide, adjustable seat, and ideally adjustable panel height. There are a lot of reputable brands out there, too many to name, but if you want a short list I’d check out Tula, LennyLamb, Happy Baby, Hope & Plum, Stokke Limas, Ergobaby, Oscha. The only thing I would strictly avoid is dirt cheap carriers off of Amazon/Temu/Aliexpress type sites. They’re not safety tested and almost certainly made by slave labor. Your baby will suck/chew the carrier, and need to have their weight supported. A cheap carrier can have unknown chemicals or irritants in the fabric, and the construction can be flimsy. Secondarily I would avoid carriers made by car seat manufacturers. While these aren’t dangerous if used correctly (which confusingly may mean disregarding the manufacturer’s instructions), they are often bulky and difficult to use. This category of carriers largely features dated designs, unnecessarily complicated methods of fastening baby, and are more like strapping a big hot plastic piece of baby gear to your body. Avoid Graco, Chicco, Infantino, Nuna, Diono, etc.

As someone that had a very tiny newborn that was only 50cm and 3000g at birth, the only carrier that worked for us was the Stokke Limas (just Limas, not flex etc) half-buckle because you can fold the buckle on the waist until your baby's head is above the line.

Second vote for Stokke Limas. I never see it recommended but it's great for my terrible back. My baby is now 5 months and 16 pounds and I've been using it since he was about 8 pounds and much shorter. Mine is a half buckle and very easy to adjust for baby's height and my waist. It's very secure without feeling bulky and I can put it on with one hand while holding baby asleep. I wear it for about an hour at a time.

My husband is also a fan of the free to grow. It's become his carrier, while I use the Stokke limas. He's very tall and has broad shoulders

I have a Moby Easy Wrap, a Baby Bjorn One, a Stokke Limas and a ring sling and the only one I wouldn't recommend is the Moby. The Limas is my most used, everyday carrier. I like that it's a half-wrap style so feels supportive and adjustable without being too bulky. My husband likes the Baby Bjorn the best and uses it most outdoors. The ring sling is the most versatile and portable though, so I often throw it in the diaper bag if we're going out and I don't know whether we'll need a carrier or not.

Thirding this! I have an ergo embrace my baby outgrew and I got this Stokke Limas on a whim because I found it on sale and it has really grown on me and now I’m in love with it. It’s SO comfortable and the wide padded waist and shoulder straps make it feel weightless, it’s easy to adjust and it’s really nice looking. It’s also a lot less expensive than other half buckle meh dais I found. I like it wayyy better than my old Ergo Omni.
