silver cross makes the jet/jet 3, which do fit in overhead bins and are aimed at travel like the yoyo or butterfly. but unlike nuna, they don’t really market the “non-toxic/greenguard” angle, fabrics are standard polyester/foam that meet safety regs, not the eco-focused stuff. if materials are a priority, nuna’s usually the pick, silver cross leans more on portability/build. there’s not a lot you need to keep in mind yourself tbh, [this post swears by](https://www.reddit.com/user/BarberUnited7894/comments/1pf2iva/midtier_vs_premium_stroller_wagons/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button) baby trend and i’ve found it to be helpful. feel free to just use it as a checklist as well

It really depends on your lifestyle. I live in a city and mostly walk everywhere. I have an uppababy vista and it is the most common stroller in my area in addition to the city select and and silver cross strollers. A tandem is necessary because shops are too small for side x side doubles. That being said, it is not the stroller I load in and out of the car because I find it a little bulky. I use an umbrella stroller, older child walks, and I wear baby. I started off with a chicco bravo, which is light weight and easy to fold, but it is not cut out for city life. Basically my stroller replaces a car where I live.

I LOVE my nuna and I do feel like it’s much easier to collapse and maneuver than some of my friends’ more budget friendly brands, I also prefer it to other ones I’ve tested (silver cross, cubed and uppababy) BUT I wish I just got a used one off Facebook marketplace because the cost is not really that justifiable when there are a lot (in my area) gently used being resold.

Suspension is flat out best in it's class for the mixx next. Vista still has good suspension though. I don't regret getting my mixx next at all, but there are a few small cons, but they aren't deal breakers. The undertaker is small compared to the competition. The stroller seat leg rest thing is sort of flimsy. It's sort of just there. Everything else is great. When it comes to these high end strollers like Nuna, Uppababy, and SilverCross, you will make a good choice no matter what, but there are small things to nitpick about between any of the high end strollers. I may not regret getting the Mixx Next, but if I had to do it again, I'd probably get a Silver Cross Reef. Simply because that was my top choice but sooo damn expensive, while my wife wanted the Nuna, which I was content with after testing it at Dillards. My wife absolutely hated the Vista due to how bulky it is, and she simply didn't like the color choices on the Cruz. It all came down to that lmao.

I have a mockingbird with a maxi cosi adapter and absolutely love it! I spent a lot of time picking a stroller and pushed just about every model around target and buybuybaby. If I was rich and didn’t have a budget I would have picked silver cross or bugaboo but mockingbird is affordable while still maintaining a high end feel.

Anecdotal but I have never been asked to gate check my stroller and I’ve put it in the overhead on at least 7 flights than I can think of, domestic and international. I have the Silver Cross Jet.

We bought a Silver across, it was about $1300 and worth every single cent! It is so smooth and well built and I walked there baby about 6km every day in it. So easy to manoeuvre and comfy.

Hey mama! What’d you end up deciding on? I’m due at beginning of May and also trying to decide between keeping our unopened Cruz V3 we got on Black Friday sale vs getting Bugaboo fox 5 vs silvercross reef.

Before looking we were dead set on getting the fox 5, but having used it instore we just found it too big and heavy, and that’s with us considering getting into the boot of a mid size SUV. We also liked the vista but also found it to be bigger than we wanted. We settled on the reef 2 from silver cross, it’s not much smaller but when we compared side by side it felt better for shops and getting the boot etc. After doing so much research all I can say is that most prams on the market are pretty good these days and what you think is more helpful that others is likely what will sway your choice so don’t read too much into comments like mine (or advice from family).

The bugaboo butterfly, silver cross jet, and joolz aer also seem to be cabin approved. Silver cross has kind of a weird fold mechanism, but I like all 3 of those more than the yoyo

We have a nuna triv and plan on using it as our primary stroller. We also have a silver cross reef for big/long walks in our neighborhood & uppababy minu for travel. I think the triv is big enough for daily/regular use but it’s light enough that I can carry it & it doesn’t feel super heavy. We got it as an unexpected gift from a friend, so we already had the other two prior 💀 otherwise I think we could’ve been ok with just the triv! The only thing I dislike about it is that the baby feels like they’re kinda low to the ground. With the nuna mixx and silver cross the seat is a big higher but idk if that’s a deal breaker for everyone or just me lol.

Honestly I really liked the Cybex and we almost went with it. We decided to get the Silver Cross Reef because of how it could fold. There are new strollers out now from last year so I’m not sure what’s best. Going to Nordstrom and testing them out is definitely worth it. That’s where we decided on Silver Cross over Cybex, UppaBaby and Nuna.

I bought a silver cross and I don’t think it was worth it. The stroller is niiice, but it takes up so much space and baby wearing worked out well for us, so the stroller’s gotten maybe 4 good uses and my son is 16 months old. I might get more uses in the toddler years coming up, but I almost always use a stroller I bought for $20 at a yard sale instead because it folds up nicer and I can keep it in the car for those “oh, I need a stroller” moments. The nicer stroller gets packed into the car if I’m going somewhere I expect more difficult terrain or if I know I need the rain cover.

I don’t have experience with any uppa baby or baby jogger stroller. I have a Nuna mixx next and a silver cross jet. I don’t like either for winter. I’ve only used my nuna a few times during winter and I hated it. Difficult to maneuver with our winter snow. My daughter is now 2yrs old but when she was 18 months ( in December), we got her a sled. So much easier. My friend lives in verdun and uses a sled as her winter mode of transportation for her daughter as well. Obviously not doable with a baby super young. But just a perspective that you might not need a stroller once your baby is older.

Are you me??? Im dying withoununa aire rx rn!! I am 5’5 and my husband is over a foot taller than me. We are going with the silver cross reef 2, bugaboo butterfly and nuna aire rx. The silver cross is soooo smooth and lux, it will last forever but it can be heavy (I plan on removing the seat from the frame when I put it in the car). We got the bundle with the bassinet attachment that’s safe for sleep for around $1,500. Then we got the bugaboo butterfly ($450) for travel, but that’s for when babe is around 6 months old. It’s super light weight and has a tall back, which is good if you end up with a taller kiddo. Picked the nuna aire rx ($600) because it’s so light weight, I like the features and materials. I found a lot of the cheaper options fall apart quickly and don’t seem comfy at all, but obviously every baby is different. There is no wrong option, everything does the same thing and goes through the same safety inspections
