Thread: "Bottles for ebf baby"

I had a picky baby with latch issues (very shallow) so we went through a ton, and had the most success with pigeon SS nipples. Very flexible and long enough to give the baby something to hang onto.

Same. Used the pigeon ss nipples until 12 months when my kiddo stopped using bottles at daycare.

They look so much like the lansinoh nipples, are they different? Asking before I spend $22 on a 4 pack that will potentially end up in my enormous graveyard of rejected bottles lol

Thread: "Has anyone actually gotten their exclusively breastfed baby to take the bottle?? What age and how? I love breastfeeding but also want some freedom"

Lansinoh slow flow nipples are what we've been using since month 2 or 3 (we started on the Pigeon SS nipple, then switched when baby was collapsing the SS nipple around 2mos). Baby is now almost 9mos and I expect we will continue to use Lansinoh Slow nipples until the end. Reminder that lansinoh and pigeon nipples are also compatible with the Maymom bottles and collars that fit also spectra pumps. So in our house we have 3 different brand of bottles with different threads but they all work with the same nipples.

Thread: "Philips avent vs. Lansinoh"

We switched from Philips avent to Lansinoh bottles with Pigeon SS nipples at the advice of a physical therapist. When baby was about 5 months old we switched back to the regular Lansinoh slow flow nipples (they’re “slow flow” but still faster than the avent) The nipple shape is more “breast like” and causes a more natural and effective latch. Evenflo was also recommended!
