Why parents like it

Many parents appreciate the natural flow nipples, claiming they help with a smooth transition from breast to bottle. The glass option is also favored by those looking for a safer alternative to plastic.

Thread: "Which bottles should I get that won’t interfere with successful breastfeeding?"

We have used Philips Avent Natural Flow since LO was 3 weeks old and it has in no way interfered with breastfeeding. Started out with the slow flow nipples because that’s what everyone said to do to protect breastfeeding, but she haaaaaated it and got to where she’d completely refuse a bottle while I was working…like for 8 hours…so I bought the fastest flow nipples and she’s fine with it now. I have a fast letdown and it makes sense now that my baby would want the bottle to be somewhat similar to that.

Mine love Phillips Avent with the new natural flow nipples. Those things are magic! Like, milk does not leak at all from them when turned up side down. You have to do specific nursing motions to get milk out (yes, I tested it lol).

Whatever you do, do NOT buy Dr. Brown’s. They leak like crazy! And too many parts to clean. I personally use Phillips Avent natural flow and we love it!

Thread: "What baby bottles are we all using?"

Also big fans of the Philips Avent natural flow glass bottles here! 👋🏻 Although we also bought two of the plastic anti-colic ones as they work with the same nipples. The only thing we didn't like about Philips Avent was the nipple size 2 as our baby could hardly get anything out of it even at just 2 weeks. We switched to size 3 early and it's been working great.

This, but I use glass or plastic. These bottles are my favorite by far and on Amazon you can buy a nipple replacement that is a straw. Great for weaning baby off a bottle.
