Thread: "Has anyone used Nanobebe bottles?"
I received one as a free sample and they’re just okay. The nipple is not really one that promotes a good latch and isn’t really all that breastlike so if you are planning on also breastfeeding I wouldn’t really recommend them. I also found the flow even on the “slow flow” nipples to be way too fast and it would cause baby to be frustrated at the breast. A lot of companies claim to be “breast like” but unless the nipple has a good slope to it and allows the baby to take a good portion of it in their mouth, it won’t promote a very good latch and can make breastfeeding very painful. I absolutely adore their pacifiers though, they’re the only ones my baby would take as a newborn

I really wanted to like them but always felt like there was a lot left in the bottle (like an ounce) and that was a lot to waste for me. We ended up using comotomo. Edited to add that babylist makes a bottle box that has 5-6 bottles you can try to see which one works best for you guys. I would highly recommend trying something like that before committing to a whole system.

Thank you for your recommendations! After looking these up I can see exactly what you mean about the shape of the nipple. I didn’t know it effected proper oral development so this was really informative! Thank you!

Honestly I’d wait to purchase a lot of bottles of any one brand. Buy a couple different options (single bottles) and see what works best for your baby before getting a bunch of them. We’ve gone through a few different brands now and I made the mistake of buying like 8+ bottles each time and then my baby ended up not liking them.
Thread: "Which are the Best Bottles for Breastfed Babies?"
Ah, the great bottle hunt! Honestly, it depends a lot on your baby because some little ones are super picky. From what I’ve seen with my sister and a couple of friends, the bottles that worked best for breastfed babies were the ones that mimic the breast as closely as possible. Comotomo bottles are a big hit because they’re soft and squishy with a wide nipple base, so the transition from breast to bottle is easier. Philips Avent Natural is another favorite—simple design, easy to clean, and good flow control.
Dr. Brown’s anti-colic bottles are also amazing if you’re worried about gas or fussiness, but they do have extra parts, so cleaning takes more effort. My cousin tried Nanobebe bottles, and they were perfect for warming up breast milk quickly without killing nutrients, which is awesome for pumped milk.
Honestly, I’d grab one or two different brands first instead of buying a big set right away—what works for one baby might totally flop for another! There’s a great comparison guide on Parenthood Bliss that breaks down pros and cons of each bottle without overwhelming you with jargon—it helped my sister narrow down her choices big time

Thread: "Lansinoh, Pigeon, Evenflo?? What bottles are you using?"
For preserving breastfeeding LCs advise only pigeon, Lansinoh or Evenflo nipples
I already had glass avent bottles which are compatible with pigeon (though I've had many issues with the nipple popping out or leaking). Glass pigeon and Lansinoh (same manufacturer) have lead paint.
If you want to try silicone (I like for on the go /diaper bag) pigeon nipples are compatible with nanobebe bottles
Evenflos are impossible to find (the right kind for bfing)

I personally hated them. They’re super awkward to hold and my baby didn’t seem to care for them. But it’s totally subjective. You and your baby may end up loving them
