Graco 6 in 1
The Graco 6 in 1 is a versatile high chair that can be configured in six different ways, accommodating children from infancy through toddlerhood. It features a foldable design for easy storage and portability, along with a five-point harness for safety.
Pros (+)
- Versatile configurations for different stages
- Foldable design for easy storage
- Functional and easy to move
Cons (−)
- Difficult to clean thoroughly
- Five-point harness may feel too constraining
- Some find it less durable than expected
Why parents like it
The foldable design makes it easy to store and move around the house. Parents find it functional for various stages of their child's growth, which adds to its appeal.
Common complaints
Cleaning the high chair is a significant issue, with several parents noting it can be cumbersome. Additionally, some parents find the five-point harness too constraining for their children.
Parents looking for a high chair that adapts as their child grows. However, the tradeoff is the extra effort needed for cleaning.
The Graco 6 in 1 offers great versatility, but be prepared for cleaning hassles and a snug harness.

I’m team graco 6 in 1. You can fold it and move out the way.
Thread: "Stokke Clikk - love, hate, meh?"
I had gotten the Graco 6in1 originally because I'm like wow it's so versatile.. then I realized how much it sucked to clean especially with anything gooey that sticks to the straps or cushion and it's bulky and not super easy to transport to the grandparents or something. After about two months of BLW with my daughter, I ended up getting the Clikk and I absolutely love it so much more. So much easier to clean (and the straps can come off and get thrown in the wash but I haven't needed to yet), lighter to transport and move around, breaks down easily for transport, and we got the gray color which is more aesthetically pleasing to look at. A few downsides though: the damn legs stick out and I can't count how many times I (or anyone really) have tripped over them initially, the tray requires two hands to remove unless you pull one side at a time, the tray is a bit smaller so you have to be aware of the size if you plan on using suction plates which also don't stick all too well though, and the footrest only has two heights if your LO is on the shorter side like mine is. I still wish I had gotten the Clikk first but you live and you learn as a first time parent lol.

Yeah my sister fell for the Tripp trapp hype, but she complains about it and is always commenting how my basic boring graco seems much more functional/easier to clean/etc.

Hi! I wanted to ask if you feel the clikk is safe enough? I feel like it moves around when my baby moves and it makes me scared of falls / tip over.. not sure what to do so searching reddit for answers 😅

That’s really good to know about the Graco vs the Clikk on the difficulty of cleaning and bulkiness. My LO is a puker, washable straps is a must. I’m going to check the measurements of the Clikk base and measure where I’d put it in my kitchen to minimize tripping. Also I hear you on the FTM thing! I’ve definitely made less than great purchases which seem obvious now but we’re not at the time.
Thread: "Best High Chair?"
I see a lot of votes for the IKEA one but at 20 lbs my 5 month olds thighs are too chunky to fit in it with the pad, and it’s really not comfy for her without it. I love the simplicity but it’s just too small if you have a big baby. We got the Graco 6 in 1 and it’s just ok but def better than the ikea one.

It’s the 6 in 1 one. I have the U.K. version of it, and my eldest was fine in it, but my youngest hates how constraining the 5 point harness is, she prefers to be able to move around more freely

I was going to get the ikea one but was given a graco 6 in 1 or something. Haven’t used it yet but probably wouldn’t spend $200 on it ha
