Second vote for Comotomo. We tried a bunch with our second and our ebf kiddo responded to the Comotomo. Pricey but worth it after the battle we went through with bottle feeding with our first. An added benefit is that they're very easy to clean! Few parts and wide enough to clean without special brushes.

Not a fan of them, we do have the Como Tomo bottles tho and those are amazing. Also rather expensive but they're really nice, I love that they're wide, you can clean them without the need for some gross bottle brush. And their nipple is way more similar to an actual breast due to the width which is good if you're trying to mix bf and bottles.

Our lactation consultant did not recommend the Comotomo bottles because it’s harder for babies to get a good latch on the nipple. She recommended Phillips Avent bottles and they worked well for us.

We started with the Comotomo when baby (now 4 months) was a few weeks old and she did fine with them but she recently went through complete bottle refusal after starting daycare. She wouldn’t take the Comotomo at all anymore. We tried Dr Browns, Nanobebe, Philips Avent, a sippy cup, open cup, spoon feeding. Nothing worked. Finally tried the Nuk Simply Natural and she’s been taking it for a couple days now so looks like we have a winner!

I really wanted to like them but always felt like there was a lot left in the bottle (like an ounce) and that was a lot to waste for me. We ended up using comotomo. Edited to add that babylist makes a bottle box that has 5-6 bottles you can try to see which one works best for you guys. I would highly recommend trying something like that before committing to a whole system.

I hate the comotomo but our babe loves the nipple. They don’t clean well, the bottle gets extremely hot easily I’ve burned my hands a bunch of times, the lid is nearly impossible to get off so is the top, it’s not translucent and difficult to see how much the baby is drinking while feeding…my lactation specialist recommended Boon. I’m going to try those once this bottle strike is over…going on 5 days now.

I could never get the lids off and honestly that ruined them for me. We switched to Tommie Teepee and love them.

Our baby did great on them. Used formula in them. Sent them through the dishwasher every night. Only 3 pieces to put together.

Mine would not take the Nano Bebe bottles. Or the Como Tomo. He sorta kinda takes the Nuk naturals but the one he really prefers is the Chicco duo. Honestly, if you can afford it, get a couple of different kinds (but just get one of each) and see what baby likes. Then buy more of that kind. Also make sure to use the slow flow nipple of whatever bottle you get. They're supposed to have to work for it just the way they would at the breast.

We liked the boon bottles with the curve nipple shape. The bottle is silicone with a plastic outer, so it won’t flop around. The como tomo is all silicone so it rolls around a lot and the nipple shape isn’t recommended.

We love our Comotomo bottles as it's shaped like a breast. My LO takes to it when offered / is EBF as well. And yes get the baby brezza!!! It's a game changer, especially those nights where you're cluster feeding

Yes - comotomo is an excellent silicone option. We flip between those and the glass Philip Avent bottles.

Ah, the great bottle hunt! Honestly, it depends a lot on your baby because some little ones are super picky. From what I’ve seen with my sister and a couple of friends, the bottles that worked best for breastfed babies were the ones that mimic the breast as closely as possible. Comotomo bottles are a big hit because they’re soft and squishy with a wide nipple base, so the transition from breast to bottle is easier. Philips Avent Natural is another favorite—simple design, easy to clean, and good flow control. Dr. Brown’s anti-colic bottles are also amazing if you’re worried about gas or fussiness, but they do have extra parts, so cleaning takes more effort. My cousin tried Nanobebe bottles, and they were perfect for warming up breast milk quickly without killing nutrients, which is awesome for pumped milk. Honestly, I’d grab one or two different brands first instead of buying a big set right away—what works for one baby might totally flop for another! Comotomo we've used these bottles with two different babies with no issues. I prefer and prioritize the wide mouth bottles for easier hand washing.

We used Comotomo bottles and they are supposedly great for gas relief and colic. It honestly sounds like marketing BS to me but our baby never had much gas. Who knows if that was because of the bottle or he is just lucky.

We had a great experience with the Como tomo bottles however because they’re that soft silicone you really need to heat up the milk or formula in a different bottle first and then put into that bother us it takes literally forever. Being cognizant and empathetic towards teachers at day care/school we tried the Tommy tippy anticolic ones as our second has really bad issues with verbs and gas and that has done a great job. They’re a pain in the butt to clean but once you get it down to a little assembly line process it ain’t half bad. The little straw thing that sits in the center of the bottle is kind of cool to because it’s got a color-coded strip that changes color of the milk is too hot.

Same for my two boys! I use the plastic ones for boy number one, but by the end of the year the bottles were discolored and the numbers were starting to wear. Got the glass ones, no numbers coming off at all, and they look pristine after cleaning. Granted we only use bottles occasionally, don’t take them anywhere, and baby will not be walking with any bottles.

I used them exclusively and my baby always drank a lot from them! No complaints other than crud can get stuck in the lid when they go through the dishwasher - but I never changed from them because I didn't want LO to maybe drink less from a new kind.

The flow from these bottles is definitely too fast for my newborn. Additionally, the silicone is hard to heat properly. However, I still do like these bottles for an older baby!

We used como tomo for our first and are switching for our second because we found them very difficult to heat up in a standard bottle warmer. Just a note- you may already know or it may not matter for you- but most daycares will not allow glass bottles!

A bottle warmer if you ever breast pump so you can go out for a day, though it’s not a requirement. (I’m suggesting this because you cannot microwave breast milk. It destroys the caloric value of it, all of the good immune system biome of it, and it heats liquid unevenly, which can burn the baby’s mouth.) The one for the avent bottles was $50. I’ve been using only glass bottle, because the idea of heating up my baby’s food in plastic when I don’t even do that for handling my own food seemed wrong. (My preference)

Comotomo. All bottles and babies are different. You might have to go through a few to see what your baby likes.

I have both of those and the boon silicone bottles. I recently have been trialling all three for the same reasons. I like the boon the best since there are flat tops for easy storage, they stand up on their own, baby can grib the outer shell and use it as a handle, and they sell different tops so it can be sued as a snack cup or sippy cup in the future. Of the other two I like the comotomo for cleaning since it less parts but the nanobebe stand up on its own while the cocotomo keeps falling over since the base is smaller than the top. Cocotomo is a wide base nipple and nanobebe is narrow so you kid may have a preference based on that alone. I have seen some talk recently about some LCs preferring narrow nipples since some babies don't latch fully into wide nipples and use it as a straw but we don't have that issue.

We got the bottle box from baby list and found that we like the comotomo bottles best. We tried Dr. Brown's as well, but they just seem to leak out of the side of baby's mouth so much more. I feel like half of my milk ended up on the burp cloth with those!

We tried comotomo & the skinny Dr brown’s bottles. Comotomo knocked over easily when preparing formula or breast milk, and the dr brown bottles leaked constantly. We ended up with nuk wide neck bottles and loved them!

Comotomo were our favorite. Definitely recommend paced feeding as well.

Maybe try Comotomo! The nipples are shaped totally different than other ones we tried (Phillips Avent and MAM). Our baby likes the Comotomo the best, but we like Phillips because they heat up quicker in the warmer, ha.

The nipple collapsing is either due to a bad seal, or the bottle is very old. No issues here. They don’t stand upright well at all. It’s the only bottle we found that our kid likes.

I go between comotomo bottles and dr. Brown’s narrow bottles and our girl handles both of them well. With the Dr. Brown’s, I had preemie nipples (she was full term but small for her age), transition nipples and finally was able to use the level 1 nipples that came with the pack. We also use a baby brezza formula machine and the narrow bottles fit well when dispensed, as well as the formula containers for when we’re out and about

We got two small como tomo bottles that we used a lot the first week and not since. We have some larger ones too, they were a hand me down from friends.

We used comotomo and Boon bottles which are silicone. I wanted to use glass but I felt like silicone was the next best option

I started with Comotomo and liked them, but my baby was unlatching and slapping at the bottle a lot. I wasn’t sure why he was doing that, but I switched to Evenflo balance after seeing that it promoted a more natural latch. He seemed to do better with it. He goes back and forth between breast and bottle with no issues.

Mine was picky, and the comotomo and the nanobebe were the only ones that he would take. We bought the sampler as well, and he rejected all the others.

Love Comotomo...yes, easy to clean. Also, I had some issues with other bottles leaking, but Comotomo doesn't do that.

She has taken exactly 3 bottles total. 2 being como tomo and one was a brand I’ve never heard call herobility. She took it once for dad and never again

I also wanted silicone ones. We used nanobebe when we had smaller bottles, but switched to comotomo when we went up to the 8 oz ones. EFF now, and as long as you make sure the vents are clear we have had any issues. We’ve been using them for about 2 months now and they’ve never collapsed (bottle or nipple). I also liked the nanobebe, but the base is really wide and didn’t fit in the diaper bag bottle spots well, and the comotomo had one less piece to clean.

My brother was fed from Avent bottles and I remembered that mom was happy with them. I bought them for my daughter, and yes, just like you I hated them. The flow was really slow, she could barely get any formula out of them, and after a week or so the flow stopped completely, and I tried all I could think of, but couldn’t get them to work again. I switched to Comotomo bottles, and both of us were much happier with that.

I used Comotomo bottles when I transitioned from BF to formula and he really likes them. He’s thankfully not super picky and will drink it cold or room temp. We were heating it at first but then realized we just assumed he wanted it warmed and turns out he doesn’t care haha.
