Thread: "Unpopular opinion- I hate the Tripp trap "

I just swapped out a chicco polly for this one and it's sooo much better. It matches my pinewood table and wipes down sooo easily! I wanted that ikea one but my kitchen is tiny and I have balance issues and was too afraid of it trying to trip me with the wide legs. Zero regrets on Abiie!

Came here to vouch for this. Mealtimes are a huge pain point in my house. We originally had a Chicco Polly but I didn’t love his posture in it, then we clipped the travel high chair to our table for a few months but it got disgusting fast when we let him self feed In the mockingbird we feel much better about his posture and cleaning it is a breeze

Thread: "High Chair"

I finally got rid of Chicco Polly and bought Abiie Beyond. Baby loves it! My eldest used to have Chicco Polly 15 years ago so I got one for my second and damn did they change the quality or what. Anyway. I'm happy someone recommended Abiie highchair.

Thread: "High Chair for Infants"

We have the Chicco/ Graco? Polly To support posture, I put towels in the seat back and in the seat and then so his feet were supported I cut a pool noodle and placed it kn the hinge of the foot plate so even if his feet weren’t 90/90 he wasn’t dangling either and was stable. Worked really well for us! I am no occupational therapist, but I am a speech therapist that does work on feeding. 90/90 is important but what’s most important is that their posture is stable because the body can’t focus on eating if it’s primary focus is keeping you upright and breathing. My son definitely was not sitting 90/90 when he started feeding, but making those adjustments to his chair did support posture and he did just fine! Not a lot of people can afford that fancy chair. We have them all over my clinic, but I for sure could not have that one in my house. Use yoga blocks, rolled up towels, books, get creative(:
