Yes! When looking up reviews or recommendations the chicco Keyfit 30 was highly rated in terms of safety. This article is from 2020 but has good info [Wirecutter: Best infant car seats](https://www.nytimes.com/wirecutter/reviews/best-infant-car-seat/)

Get the Uppababy Cruz or Vista. They also have the Mesa carseat, but we used it with the Chicco Keyfit carseat with an adaptor. The adaptor was 30 bucks maybe? It is worth every penny. It is just designed thoughtfully, built well, and works fabulously. Mine is nearly 10 years old and still works great. Will be using it again for this baby.

Thread: "Please help me find an alternative to the UppaBaby Vista for really petty reasons"

The mockingbird travel system is almost exactly the same as the uppa. They have a single to double stroller. They have a bassinet attachment. They are working on a roller board for a third kid in the future. Excellent suspension and tires. We’re getting the chicco keyfit 30 car seat and the adapter bracket for the car seat to fit in the stroller. The chicco keyfit rated higher for crash safety than the uppa baby in consumer reports if you want a petty thing to throw in their smug faces 😂 Edit to add the mockingbird is $400! The bassinet is I think another $100 which is like half the cost of the uppa baby

Thread: "What stroller are you getting?"

I need a very compact car seat for my small car so I’m going with the Chicco KeyFit car seat and the KeyFit Caddy Frame Stroller, which apparently is also great for travel.

Thread: "Please just tell me what stroller to buy"

We've gone through a number of strollers trying to optimize features. If I was starting it all again I'd just go with the Uppababy Vista + Chicco keyfit car seat. I think the Vista has the best combination of features overall. Some strollers do x or y better, but the Vista does everything well. And we've loved our Chicco car seat.

Thread: "BEST STROLLER/BASSINET/CARSEAT COMBO FOR 1st TIME MOM IN TORONTO? [on]"

I have the Cruz v2 and absolutely love it. My first baby was born Jan so we didn’t get bassinet and just got the infant seat insert and worked great. We didn’t do long walks much so we often just used car seat on the stroller. We also used the grace snugride that time with adapter and worked great. For my second, we got a bassinet since September baby (borrowed from a friend). He’s outgrown it already at 3 months. We have the mesa this time and hate it!!! It’s so gd damn heavy, granted my boy is 17 lbs at 3 mos. Carrying him in it is absolutely brutal. While travelling, we used the Chico keyfit with adapter and liked that one too. Only thing I didn’t like about the Chico keyfit is it didn’t have a sun shade. I find my boy is so squished in the mesa, he often is so hot in it too.

We have Mockingbird and use the infant car seat adapter with a Chicco Keyfit 35 car seat no problem. Pros: It collapses and expands very easily. The car seat adapter was easy to install. Excellent storage underneath. Easy to steer on grass and concrete. Tires are heavy duty and easy to replace. Can expand with the family as you have more kids. Adjustable handle for height differences. Cons: Expensive in a way but still a cheap double stroller. Adapter sold separately. No cupholder (I bought a stroller organizer for $15 on Amazon that attached fine and holds drinks)

Thread: "What is the fuss with the Uppababy strollers?"

We love you Mockingbird! Currently only using it as a single but one of my best friends has twins and loves it as a double. Got the Chicco Keyfit 35 cars seat to go with it and it was a great combo!

Thread: "Anyone with a sedan- what stroller are you using that fits in your trunk?"

Not OP, but we drive a model Y and have the Evenflo revolve 360 3 in 1. It juuust fits in rear facing mode. It's huge! Neither of us is super tall though ( we're both 5'8"). We had a Chicco Keyfit 360 before she outgrew it. That fit really well.

Thread: "I have also been assigned a task! To find a stroller/car seat system. Thoughts? Experience?"

Same, went with the KeyFit system with an “off road” stroller, car seat and 2 bases, one for each car. Everything has worked very well, car seat bases were easy to install.
