Chicco Bravo 3-in-1
The Chicco Bravo 3-in-1 is a versatile stroller that accommodates infants with a car seat and transitions to a toddler stroller. It features a one-hand fold, large storage basket, and compatibility with Chicco KeyFit car seats.
Pros (+)
- Easy one-hand fold for convenience
- Large storage basket for essentials
- Compatible with Chicco KeyFit car seats
Cons (−)
- Heavier than some competitors, challenging for lifting
- Maneuverability issues in tight spaces
- Some parents report durability concerns with wheels
Why parents like it
Parents appreciate the one-hand fold feature, making it easy to collapse while holding a baby. The large storage basket is also frequently mentioned as a practical benefit for outings.
Common complaints
The stroller's weight is a common concern, particularly for parents who need to lift it frequently. Additionally, some parents have experienced issues with maneuverability in crowded or uneven areas.
Parents looking for a reliable stroller that works well with an infant car seat for city living. The tradeoff is its heavier weight, which can be cumbersome for some.
The Chicco Bravo is a reliable stroller for everyday use, but its weight and maneuverability may not suit everyone.

I have the Chicco Bravo and we love it…we also live in a city and use it all the time and haven’t had any issues. But agreed I see uppababys everywhere lol I’m just like dang we are in different tax brackets 😂

Another vote for Chico Bravo with a Keyfit car seat. Wonderful stroller, and very highly rated, safe, comfortable car seat. I’m really happy I saved the money and with this brand. My baby loves it.
Thread: "Can someone de-influence me from the Uppababy Stroller?"
We have the Chico bravo and it’s fab. I’ve never thought “oh I wish” about it. You’ll be fine with whatever you get. My friend got a second hand uppababy on market place and then had to get some extra bits for it. It’s trendy because the influencers have them.
Thread: "Can someone de-influence me from the Uppababy Stroller?"
Yes!!! The ease of popping out of the car and into tge stroller is amazing 👏 and now that my girlie is older, the stroller itself is perfect!
Thread: "Can someone de-influence me from the Uppababy Stroller?"
Loved the Keyfit/Bravo combo. We just use the stroller now that she’s too big for the infant seat, but it’s great.
Thread: "Can someone de-influence me from the Uppababy Stroller?"
Same. 3-1/2 years later and it’s still kicking and we really abuse it. Leave it on our front porch and put hundreds of miles on it. Not the prettiest but it really works and folds way smaller than the vista.

Bravo/Keyfit squad unite! We love ours…LO is getting close to sizing up to a convertible seat but we love that the stroller is still good up to 50lb. I’m not a “crunchy” mom by any means but I also liked that it was available in Cleartex- figured why not if the option is there. The ONLY downside I would say so far to the Bravo is it’s not the best on really rough terrain. But it’s amazing otherwise

We have the Chicco Bravo and love it!
Thread: "Not sure how much to spend on a stroller"
We have the Chicco bravo primo travel system and think it’s a great balance of nice features for a more affordable price :)
Thread: "Does anyone have a Graco or Chicco stroller that you particularly love?"
We have the chiico bravo system and love it! Really easy. It does everything we need, has everything we want. No complaints!!!! About to bust out the bucket seat for baby number 2, but we did have to upgrade the stroller to accommodate 2 under 2.

Also Bravo over here. No complaints, lots of storage. Been using for 3.5 years. Mostly only use it at the zoo now but still.

I 1000% recommend the Chicco Bravo with the Keyfit! We have the Bravo Primo Trio Travel System in Springhill, this set isn’t cheap ($700) but it was a gift on our registry and family friends pooled in the money to get it. We were overjoyed when we opened it because it’s so nice! The tires are treaded, it has shocks and rides so smooth. The basket is massive so when we shop we just throw what we need underneath. The car seat fits so seamless in and out of the stroller/car. The covers are rated SPF 50, our LO sleeps so soundly when we close the top when out and about. Also on Consumer Reports it is their most recommended travel system for safety etc. Please get this travel system you won’t regret it! Edit: Spelling
Thread: "Are expensive strollers worth it?"
It really depends on your lifestyle. I live in a city and mostly walk everywhere. I have an uppababy vista and it is the most common stroller in my area in addition to the city select and and silver cross strollers. A tandem is necessary because shops are too small for side x side doubles. That being said, it is not the stroller I load in and out of the car because I find it a little bulky. I use an umbrella stroller, older child walks, and I wear baby. I started off with a chicco bravo, which is light weight and easy to fold, but it is not cut out for city life. Basically my stroller replaces a car where I live.
Thread: "Can someone de-influence me from the Uppababy Stroller?"
We had the chicco and loved it, it worked great! Would buy again. Around 1 my kid started hating the stroller so we upgraded to a nice wagon (Wonderfold) and I’m so glad we saved the money on the stroller to spend on a better upgrade later. He’s almost 3 and we still use the wagon all the time!! You might only use the stroller for a little while and a cheaper option will work just as well.
Thread: "Can someone de-influence me from the Uppababy Stroller?"
Agreed! We got a free Chicco Bravo from a neighborhood group that goes with the KeyFit infant car seat from our registry, and that thing has been a tank. I initially felt stroller envy with all the Uppababys in our neighborhood, but ultimately have been super happy and glad we saved the money.
Thread: "The overwhelming world of strollers"
For a stroller, go used initially. I bought a $500 mockingbird and I hate it. We got a slightly used chicco bravo stroller on fb marketplace for $50 and it’s the best. Easy to fold, lightweight, etc. buying used can help you decide what you like and need without investing right away. We got a chicco keyfit car seat and it worked well for us.
Thread: "Has anyone tried the Doona car seat/stroller? Is it really worth the hype?"
This price tag for something that only lasts *maybe* a year is a dealbreaker for me. When I was pregnant and when my baby was a newborn, it felt like so many baby gear things would get so much use, they'd be worth the investment! As adults we get used to our nice things lasting a while but we don't realize we're used to that meaning multiple years. My baby is 16mos now and from the other side... it's the blink of an eye. We used our infant carseat til 11mos and it was still pristine. We absolutely *loved* our Chicco KeyFit30. Relatively inexpensive, and gets top ratings from Consumer Reports. CR rates KeyFit at 90. The only infant seat rated higher is the Clek Liing at 91, which is more than double the price of the KeyFit. Doona scored a 67. My mom lets me borrow her paid CR subscription login😉 To be clear, this is NOT based on the official crash testing that certifies seats - those numbers don't get released, just pass/fail. CR does their own crash testing, which is part of the score, but fit-to-vehicle, weight, and ease of use also contribute to the score. Infants really shouldn't spend time in their carseats outside of the car. It's okay for brief trips just to run into the store with them in the bucket seat in the cart or whatever, but it's better not to. So that'll be an issue with travel systems that the seat clicks into a stroller, as well.

Chicco Bravo is amazing! You don’t need a name brand if it’s out of your budget.
Thread: "What do I get with luxury/expensive strollers (uppababy, Nuna) over affordable ones (Chicco, Graco)"
We went to a BuyBuyBaby before they closed and tried a ton of strollers, and went with the Bravo with a Keyfit35 infant car seat. We still use the Bravo stroller and used the Keyfit35 until our son was 1 (and a little for air travel after that - he’s 60th percentile in height and it went up to 32”). The more expensive strollers were a little nicer, but not enough for the price difference. And we have a friend who has an Uppababy system of some sort, and honestly, it seems pretty clunky. The Bravo folds easily although not small (we have a Mountain Buggy Nano for travel) and has overall been super convenient. Now that our 20 month old is walking, he also rejects any stroller and either wants to walk/push it himself or he wants to be carried, so we’ve switched to mostly baby wearing with an Osprey (and occasionally our ErgoBaby Omni). I don’t think I’d splurge on the fancy stroller, especially at this point, unless you plan to have a second and want to be able to use a double stroller. In our case, we’re holding onto our infant car seat and planning for #2, but I also don’t see us having enough conflict to justify a double stroller, so we’re sticking with our Chicco system with no regrets.
Thread: "Can someone de-influence me from the Uppababy Stroller?"
I love my chicco bravo and the key fit car seat. My LO is an over achiever and out grew the car seat (she’s almost 6 months) so we’ve had to switch to a convertible car seat since but we still love the stroller!
Thread: "Can someone de-influence me from the Uppababy Stroller?"
We have this one too! The compatibility with the car seat is great. It also has good storage underneath and easily converts to outward facing when baby is older and can sit up on their own. It is a bit heavy and not the easiest to fold up, in our experience — I wouldn’t necessarily use it for flying, for example — but it absolutely gets the job done. We regularly walk with baby for an hour plus in it.

Another Chico Bravo plus Ketfit fan here! I made my decision solely based on Consumer Reports ranking them highest in safety.
Thread: "Can someone de-influence me from the Uppababy Stroller?"
I was gonna say this as well....Chicco is great, my SIL has it since her first was born and now she has 3 kiddos total ages 8, 6 and 2 and that Chicco bravo is still going strong....we ended up getting a nuna trvl lx + nuna urbn but almost were gonna get the chico. The only pros of nuna urbn is that it's lighter to carry and that you don't any base to install it and the nuna trvl lx is one hand collapse and a good mix btwn a travel stroller and an everyday stroller in terms of size. I would not get uppababy, their models are so clunky and hard to maneuver. If you have the budget I would go with nuna over uppababy but Chicco is always still a good option
Thread: "Are expensive strollers worth it?"
Got ours secondhand (Chicco) for I think $80? Car seat clicks into it, only need one hand to fold up, and it was in mint condition. Definitely worth looking into secondhand if you don't want to spend the money (and are ok with buying used)
Thread: "What (realistically priced) strollers are good these days?"
My SIL has the Chicco bravo and I know they walk a lot and have been happy with it going on 3 years now
Thread: "The overwhelming world of strollers"
We have a chicco travel system and I love it. The bravo series won over the other ones for several reasons. 1. The one handed close and the handle for carrying. It’s so much easier to get a stroller in the car when you have a handle. 2. The bravo felt smoother and more sturdy than the other strollers in the same price range that we tried. 3. The bottom bar was in a place where you didn’t kick it constantly. 4. The handle was adjustable so people of different heights could be comfortable. 5. Lots of space in the basket below. So I love our bravo system. We ended up getting a fancier version because I didn’t have to pay for it. It’s easy and I love the way it works.
Thread: "Can someone de-influence me from the Uppababy Stroller?"
Having had both, the Uppababy handles significantly better. We decided it was worth it when we had our second, but the Chicco Bravo was solid while we only had one and the removable carseat was very convenient with a newborn
Thread: "Can someone de-influence me from the Uppababy Stroller?"
Also have the bravo and it’s been great!
Thread: "Are expensive strollers worth it?"
I got a Chico stroller system at the recommendation from a friend. I regret it. One kid not even a year old and the wheels are falling off the front. Skip a lot of the expensive bouncers and stuff like the Mamaroo swing and use that money for a solid stroller instead.
Thread: "Does anyone have a Graco or Chicco stroller that you particularly love?"
I have the Chicco bravo primo and I absolutely love it. One hand fold is so easy, it has rubber tires, clicking in the car seat is easy, one touch brakes. I take it everywhere with just me and baby and have zero complaints.
Thread: "Nuna Pipa or Chicco Key Fit car seat?"
I ended up finding the Chicco Bravo Primo Trio on a great deal around Black Friday
Thread: "Why is choosing a baby stroller so hard???"
I’m not who you’re asking, but we recently bought a vista for the double capability. I don’t regret buying it, but I have some complaints: - once it’s folded, there’s no handle to carry the frame - it’s heavy, so carrying it without a handle is awkward - the thing is a behemoth. It will take up your whole trunk - cupholder is trash - configurations for more than one seat require additional adapters It’s a smooth ride with a spacious storage basket. It’s clearly well made, but for the price point I think they should have been slightly more thoughtful with the design. If I’m out and about alone with the infant seat, I much prefer my chicco stroller.

We have the Chicco Bravo and love it. It's a bit less than the corso and we love it
Thread: "Can someone de-influence me from the Uppababy Stroller?"
3 years and 2 kids later and I am still in love with my Chico Bravo. We’ve taken it on sidewalks, off-roading on trails, through pumpkin and berry patches. It’s the best.
Thread: "What do I get with luxury/expensive strollers (uppababy, Nuna) over affordable ones (Chicco, Graco)"
I believe the keyfit35 car seat can come as a travel system with both the Chicco bravo stroller and the Chicco corso stroller. The bravo is more budget friendly (looks like a graco) and the corso is their “luxury” stroller. Either way, functionally both great strollers. I’m hoping to get the 360 rotating car seat next! How do you like it?
Thread: "Strollers - what did you wish you knew before you bought?"
I picked a jogging stroller despite never jogging and I’m so glad I did. It is SO much more maneuverable than the traditional 4 wheeled stroller. It’s also a travel system so the infant car seat snaps right in. ETA: I have a chicco activ3
Thread: "Which stroller/travel system you have and why do you love it?"
Info: what do you plan to do with it? Paved paths only, outdoors, etc. Edit to add: we got the Chico bravo thing. It’s been in state park trails, lots of pavement. Ours is 3 now but hasn’t wanted to use it for about a year…we still take it to carry a cooler etc. It’s pretty darn beat up at this point, specifically the stroller wheels. Everything else is still looking good. So if you aren’t going to be that hard on it, I think it would be good.
Thread: "Are expensive strollers worth it?"
Originally I bought the Chicco Brava travel system, but the wheels of the stroller kept getting clogged with fallen leaves on my walls around the block. It was super annoying to have to stop every 20 ft to unclog them or have the stroller pulling to one side I sold it on FB and got a BOB instead. It’s fantastic!! Handles like a dream, smoothly goes over bumps without any issues. Total game changer After I got it I started noticing how popular they are No regrets, it was totally worth it
Thread: "The overwhelming world of strollers"
I was in the same boat this past weekend and just bit the bullet on the chicco bravo trio. I can’t give you any inputs on how it is because obviously I haven’t used it yet, but the reviews and price point matched up to what I was looking for.
Thread: "Confused by strollers, what do you recommend?"
Seconded. I highly recommend a “travel system” as well. Being able to go from car to stroller without waking the baby is invaluable. We have the Chicco Bravo Keyfit 35 set and have loved it for nearly 4 years. The tall 3 year old can still use the seat when the baby’s bucket seat isn’t installed. Same with other brands, too, I’m sure. Side note, I just found a double stroller that works with our bucket seat at a garage sale, and it’s great too. The toddler can sit on the “bench” seat facing me while the bucket seat is installed behind her. She loves riding with baby brother :)
Thread: "I hate my Doona"
Can you keep the doona as your car seat/car seat stroller, and just get a chicco bravo that doesnt include a whole travel system? So you arent buying a new car seat, just the stroller then its substantially cheaper, and u still have it for when u wanna do a quick pop in and out somewhere. U also then dont have to hurt the family memebers feelings ur concerned about.
Thread: "Are expensive strollers worth it?"
Yes, we got a used uppababy vista, and it’s sooo well engineered and smooth. We had a Chico bravo before, which did its job but the vista is a game changer. I can push it with one hand while holding a toddler in the other. It’s so modular with functional components, extra seats, accessories. It’s worth it. I wish we’d bought one from the start.
Thread: "The overwhelming world of strollers"
We used the Chicco Bravo stroller and Chicco key fit 30 car seat. Loved the car seat and had no issues with it. I wasn’t a fan of the stroller after a few months. It’s terrible at off-roading (gravel, I paved paths, etc.) and the wheels got super messed up super quickly. It opens and stores easily, which is nice. I’m looking around for a used Uppababy this time around (I also need a two seater so that’s a need). I’ll need to travel to a city to pick one up but I’ve found a few listed in great condition for ~$300.
Thread: "Stroller Overwhelm"
I remember this feeling. I literally went to Lucie’s list , did basic amount of research, and bought a Chicco travel system. I literally could not be bothered to overthink this 😂
Thread: "Please help me choose between a Chicco stroller or the Mockingbird"
We have the chicco bravo (the cleartex one, the tray folds too) and it's been great so far! We haven't tried it in snow yet but we have taken it on cobblestone, walks in grass and the woods and it's maneuvered those fine.
Thread: "Does anyone have a Graco or Chicco stroller that you particularly love?"
Oh I have the Chico Bravo KeyFit and I love the stroller. It’s so handy. One handed open & close and very durable. We’ve whipped that thing all around town and it’s on its second baby right now. It’s holding strong.
Thread: "I hate my Doona"
Wait for Black Friday to buy the Chicco! They have great deals on strollers on Amazon and some other places. Definitely sell the Doona.
Thread: "Can someone de-influence me from the Uppababy Stroller?"
After maulding over my travel system and almost falling to the Uppababy/Mockingbird hype, I also got the Chicco Bravo Primo (comes with the Keyfit 35 carseat), and my daughter loves it! She barely ever fusses in the seat, and loves going out for walks. It doesn't do great on gravel, but most "standard" strollers don't. I've also heard good things about Chicco's Activ3 jogger for that purpose, but don't own one myself. I'm also glad I got the Keyfit 35, because she's turning out to be quite a long girly (89th percentile) and can use the extra legroom!
Thread: "Can someone de-influence me from the Uppababy Stroller?"
Chicco Bravo for life! We got the stroller and car seats new and bought extra bases off marketplace. Love this stroller so much
Thread: "I hate my Doona"
You can find some secondhand online in amazing shape, especially if you aren’t buying the car seat with it. I bought a new Chicco KeyFit car seat and a used bravo stroller. Works perfectly.
