Thread: "Which Momcozy wearable pump and why?"
This is the exact post I need right now because I also have a Willow Go and I don't love it, so I'm looking to trade for something else. I'm not a Momcozy shill, but I have the V2 and I love it! I get about the same as my Spectra, and it's really convenient to take on the go. Anytime I'm driving, I'm pumping with the V2 🤣 I like that the motor is external, so the cups are SO LIGHT and I'm able to adjust suction and mode without having to reach into my shirt. I know Willow and some Momcozys have an app, but that wouldn't be available to me while driving, so having the motor in my lap and just reaching down to adjust with a quick look is much preferred. It's also only 3 pieces (4 with an insert) so washing and putting back together is a breeze compared to the Willow Go. Ugh, just going to complain about the Willow Go for a minute!! The V2 has tubing, which has not been an issue for me so far, since I can just tuck it down my shirt, but I thought I would try to get another truly wearable/cord free pump to take on the go. Plus the Willow Go design is so pretty it lured me in 🤦🏼♀️ I really regret spending my money on the Willow Go. It's so heavy, I feel like I'm going to get a clog because of the weight on my chest. The design is so clunky and a pain to put together and take apart, and with the motor in the middle, you can't do the fridge hack. If anyone else is thinking about it, don't do it!! I wish I got the M5 or Eufy instead. Hopefully I can trade for one :') Good luck with your search!

Thread: "What are the best Wearable pumps?!"
I have momcozy s9 pros, m5, v2, spectra s2, v1 delivering tomorrow. I rank them as follows 1. V2 so nice to have light cups in my bra and have the motor in my pocket 2. M5, love they they fit in my bra beautifully and almost not noticeable in my scrubs at work. Just heavy cause the motor is attached to cup. 3. S9 pro, love the capacity for my morning pump but other than that it just feels super clunky in my bra. And i noticed that as o do things while wearing them they come close together in my bra and the pulling during this makes my nipples swell. 4. Spectra s2, my first pump. Didn’t know about flange sizing so i was pumping w 21mm when im a 15mm. Barely any output, bought inserts for my size and still barely any output. Only use if i washed my wearables for the next day and don’t feel like getting them dirty lol. And even then i still go for a Hakka or the hand pump that i got from the hospital lol
16 weeks pp. I use the Momcozy V2. I did chores this morning while pumping. No leaking even when I max out the cups. Bending over to unload the dishwasher or pick up a kid is no problem. I wouldn't do yoga with it, but general life shows no big problems. I get as much and sometimes even more than I do with my spectra paired with traditional flanges. I will say I randomly have weeks where I stop responding to it, so I switch back to traditional flanges and then go back and the issue fixes itself. But the same thing happens in reverse for me with traditional flanges anyway. So it's net neutral.

Thread: "QUIET wearable pumps??"
I have the momcozy V2 and they're apparently the quietest on the market but I can assure you, they are still noticeable. The best that could be done would be wrap the motor in some foam or something to try and quieten the noise but unless there's music playing in your surgery you'd still notice the _vrm vrm vrm_ sound. Get a pair of wearables, pump on your drive to and from work. Depending on how long pp you are and your supply I wouldn't worry about a 5 hour stretch, just make sure to wear the breast pads for leaks and look forward to the epic amount you'll get out at the next pump! 😁

Agree! My v2 gets me the same output as my medela symphony. And it’s basically the momcozy version of an elvie stride, which OP has used in the past. I think the double sealed flanges and the mixed mode makes a huge difference with the momcozys vs an Elvie in my personal experience.

Thread: "Worth it to upgrade to the hospital-grade wearable pump?"
I have a “hospital grade” wearable, Elvie Stride. While it was convenient, it never fully did the job of the spectra. The Momcozy s12 is stronger than I expected, so I assume the V2 Momcozy (the one with tubes) is just as good.

Also Momcozy, the V1/V2 are the ones more similar to a willow go/elvie/the styles with cups, tubing, and a remote control/motor piece that connects them. The M5/S12 have individual motors for each side, which is nice if you only need to do one or need different settings.

This one is super silent. The V1 (hospital-grade version) was louder than what I wanted (I do a lot of Zoom meetings and need to be somewhat discrete, lol). I found the V2 to be similar to the [Elvie Stride](https://a.co/d/2ZgJGve) mechanical-wise but much cheaper and comes with parts you might need (like spare duckbill valves and flange inserts)
The only thing to keep in mind with the V1 or V2 is that they have a very short flange, so if you have elastic nipples, you might run into an issue.
If you have never used a Momcozy pump, they do take some time to get used to and find the right settings, but once you do, it's worth it.

I hate the willow go! I’ve already had to get a replacement motor for it too. Also you’re right it’s so heavy. I really want another wearable but I’m scared to pay for one and not like it or get good output with it 😭

I can clip it on my pants or put it in my pocket. Sometimes the cord is annoying now because LO likes to grab it :D but under my shirt otherwise fine

I have tried the Willow Go, Momcozy V1, and Momcozy V2. I also have the blue and pink spectra. The Willow Go is very heavy in the bra and one of the motors quit working very quickly and didn’t hold a charge well. I changed to Momcozy when that happened, and overall, I’ve liked them much more. The cups are very light in the bra. The V1 I like at work as I can put the motor on the keyboard drawer and keep working. The V2 is a great portable as it has a clip and can fit in a pocket if need be. Both motors hold a multi-use charge and the cups are large capacity. Replacement parts aren’t as expensive as the Willow Go either, so that is nice. I do feel like the Momcozy empties me just as well as the spectra, unlike the Willow where it was good on the go but I still didn’t feel all the way empty. Hope that helps!

Thread: "First Time Mom Choosing A Breast Pump!"
Crazy your comment came in when it did as I'm currently using the BB2.0. I feel like there is a big difference in the original vs the 2.0. They softened the long pull so that it doesn't feel like it's going to rip your nipple off haha and you also have the option to not even have the long pull at all if it's not your thing. I honestly like the short bursts and long pull now that it isn't so crazy strong. I do use all 3 modes though. I use several different cups, but my favorite are the elvie stride cups. They are low profile as well. I use the Spectra caracups and baby buddha cups which are not as low profile. There have been complaints about the baby buddha cups hissing after a week or so but I have not experienced that. I have also used the momcozy v1/v2 cups but it's just not my go to. They did exactly what they were supposed to do with no issues but I remember seeing something somewhere that you could potentially damage your nipples with that combo.
