The spectra s1 or the spectra synergy gold - both are good. I use the s1 in office because it has a portable battery so I don’t need to keep charging it, and use the spectra synergy gold at home where I can keep it connected to an electrical socket. The synergy gold to me is like a level up from the s1 as I can adjust the suction settings for each side but the downside is that it loses its portability.

I love my spectra synergy gold but I can’t not be up and moving while pumping. The s1 may be “portable” but it’s fucking huge man. I bought a [pumpables genie advanced](https://pumpables.kckb.st/9114de37) and it’s just as much power and emptying capability as my spectra and I can even use all my spectra parts with it if I wanted to. However I prefer the liquid kits over the spectra parts, and now I prefer lacteck flanges/maymom adapter/spectra soft pieces over that!

Good to know, thanks for the input! Honestly as long as it would last me through my whole work day—3 solid, 20-30 minute pumps—then that’s good enough for me. When I’m home I use my pump time as “me time” and use my Spectra Synergy Gold (plug in) pump.

Spectra has amazing flagship pumps. The S1, S2 and synergy gold. Their other pumps are really not great, especially their wearables and their gold mini. It just does not have great power and can tank a supply. The best portable pump to use as a primary, is the BabyBuddha 2.0. Great power and small!
