I have momcozy s12 pro, Bella baby which is similar to baby Buddha I’ve heard, and bioboo hug pumps. Bella baby is amazing, I got it for $45 I think off Amazon and for the price it’s the best pump I’ve used as far as comfort. It’s my main pump now since my spectra started to get weaker. It’s portable but not wearable, so the flanges and bottles are still on the outside which is annoying tbh, but it comes with a bunch of sizes of flanges so you don’t have to use inserts which is nice. There’s ways to hack it with wearable cups I just haven’t done it. Momcozy s12 pro and bio boo are similar to me. Both work equally well, bioboo is a bit painful for me but it was sent to me for free so I just use it as my backup pump. I keep it in the car in case I’m out and need to pump. Momcozy ones work well but be aware they do break randomly easily but the company is good about replacing them if they do. My first set broke after. A month and they sent me an entire new set. Some days I find a certain pump to be more comfortable than others, and it changes each day tbh idk why

I love momcozy and wearables so much. I have the s9pros, s12pros, M5s, and tried the V1. I loveddd the V1 but returned it bc the motor died within two days. The s9pros are my least favorite. They’re not as strong of suction and always leak for me, I never use them anymore. The M5s are great and very discreet! They don’t hold as much milk and the suction is strong but not super strong like I need it. The s12pros are the holy grail for me. The suction is strong and great, and they hold a ton of milk. If insurance will cover it, try a hospital grade pump of your choice hacked with wearable cups! All you need is a tubing adapter to be able to use your momcozy cups with the pump itself. I use the Zomee Z2 pump I got through insurance with my momcozy s12pro wearable cups and love this combination. I use this combo for most pumps unless I’m on the go or am doing things around the house, then I’ll use the S12pros or the M5s instead. Edit to add: I also have the spectra S2 (pink one) where it plugs into the wall. The pump itself wasn’t bad, but I hated being stuck plugged into the wall and the plastic collection cups were a horrible feel for me. I’m sure I could use my wearable cups hack with the spectra for more comfort, but I still loathe the thought of being stuck to the wall.

baby buddha with collection cups, love it. stronger than my spectra honestly. the momcozy s12 pro is good.
I haven’t used a “hospital grade” pump personally but hear they are close in power to things like the spectra. Also note that the term “hospital grade” as it applies to personal pumps is not recognized by the FDA. Possibly helpful article https://aeroflowbreastpumps.com/blog/hospital-grade-breast-pumps-faq#:~:text=A%20hospital%2Dgrade%20breast%20pump%20is%20a%20rental%20breast%20pump,from%20properly%20breastfeeding%20their%20babies. I have 4 pumps - medela manual pump, spectra S2, momcozy s12 pros, and Pumpables Genie Advance. My manual pump is great, I think everyone should at least have one handy to help pumping for comfort when engorged from time to time. Also great for MOTN if you’re trying to quietly pump in bed. My Spectra kind of stressed me out at first so I wasn’t able to get much out until I got more comfortable. The momcozy wearables were great until my supply regulated. I haven’t been able to get more than an ounce or two per side in a while when my other pumps regularly get 3-5 oz per side. I just don’t respond well to the style or flange size anymore. But I know quite a few women who still prefer them. My PGA is a new favorite for portability and the silicone flange kit. Plus I can interchange parts with my spectra.

I had a momcozy s12 pro and often used it for commute and office pump break, cuz the handsfree option really makes it so much more convenient, and gives me decent output. Still, I would use the wall pump at least 1x a day and pump a little longer, just to make sure my breast is definitely empty.

Same here actually - and glad to see I am not the only one ! I am a bit more than 4 months into EPumping and used the Elvie wearable. Just works for me, it gives me time to do what I need to and I get c. 800ml / day while only pumping 5/6times * 10 mins each time. Not sure this is due to the pumps but I know that for my first one, having a non wearable pump meant it felt too much time consuming and I ended up stopping after 4 weeks.

I got the motif Luna with battery so I can move it around the house with me as well as the momcozy s12 pro. I find the Luna more efficient and comfortable with the correct flange size (I use the pumpin pals flange set) while I need to get a better flange size for the momcozy. The momcozy pump is uncomfortable on the same suction settings as the Luna and you can’t adjust the frequency of the sucking action only the suction strength so you lose a mode of customization. I chose the MomCozy S12 Pros. Honestly I can’t remember exactly what other pump I was comparing to since it was so long ago but I want to say I chose the S12s because of the battery life, charge time and capacity. I’m actually a big fan of it personally. I feel like I get the same output with it as I do my Spectra. I was looking at pumps again recently because I needed replacement parts and my man asked if I would be interested in getting a new pump altogether and started looking at options for me. Turns out I’m even more glad I got the S12s because they’re supposed to be really good for women with elastic nipples like myself which I didn’t even know I had until maybe a month ago? If you do happen to have elastic nippies, this may be a good pump to consider!
Thread: "Why did you choose your wearable pump, what do you like about, what would you change?"
I have a few: I really like the medela freestyle, the cups are comfortable and the motor is small. It’s not the quietist but I can move around/cook/ do mild cleaning while pumping. There are tubes connecting to the cups but that helps them be really light weight. I also have Eufy S1 pro that I like, although I have an oversupply so the cups are a bit small for that. But it’s efficient and I do like the heating and the case is convenient for on the go. I wouldn’t recommend momcozy - the suction is good but you can’t rely on the motors to be working from pump to pump. - I had two sets of s9pros give out on me with my first son 2 years ago. The m5 I had with him also died, although I liked it enough I got another one this time but I reach for the eufy more. The S12pro isn’t bad but again I’m just waiting for it to stop working at this point.

I use different combos.
I start with stimulation. mode for about 5- 8 mins
Then I switch to the dual mixed mode for about 10-15 min
And the remainder mode I use the expression mode
Sometimes I switch the mixed and expression around, but I usually always start with stimulation.

This is what I have too. It periodically goes on sale. Also it’s a closed system so you can buy the motors used and get new cups! If you use Aeroflow with insurance you can get a second set of cups free. You can adjust what pump you own when you’re up for replacement parts. https://a.co/d/09vq09tt
Thread: "Mom cozy hands free worth it ?"
Absolutely get the wearables. I have S12Pro and just wear it with cheap Hanes spaghetti strap sports bra. Or any bra you already have really as long as it’s tight to the skin. love it. The only reason I’m still going.
Thread: "Best portable breast pump?"
I got the momcozy s12 pro and hate it. It is so heavy with the motors sitting on top that I can never keep my nipples centered in the tunnel. They end up dragging down and just rubbing against the flange like crazy. Or I have to constantly pull my bra back up. I haven’t tried the willow but because of my experience with the momcozy I’d probably go with a more integrated motor than one that sits on top of the cup.
Thread: "Undersuppliers, this is for you! Thinking about getting a wearable?"
I have elastic nipples as well and find that I respond better to hard flanges rather than the silicones. I tried momcozy s12pro and it didn’t work for me, but then I tried momcozy m9 and it’s been working great! I got the same output as my baby Buddha (my main pump). I also respond really well to eufy and elvie double. https://preview.redd.it/nz26jsrva8je1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=0e4e55d20e9ea98f39da1d9afa5fd0b2f4b12637
Thread: "Recs for best handsfree pump?"
Momcozy s12 pro or momcozy v2!!
Thread: "Best pump for exclusively pumping ?"
Thread: "Any wearable breast pump in budget?"
baby buddha with collection cups, love it. stronger than my spectra honestly. the momcozy s12 pro is good.
Thread: "Hospital grade pump - worth it?"
Thread: "Worth it to upgrade to the hospital-grade wearable pump?"
I prefer to use the wearable when at work and the regular wall pump at night. I had a momcozy s12 pro and often used it for commute and office pump break, cuz the handsfree option really makes it so much more convenient, and gives me decent output. Still, I would use the wall pump at least 1x a day and pump a little longer, just to make sure my breast is definitely empty.
Thread: "Momcozy pumps: overhyped or worth??"
My friend did too! She let me borrow it to see if I liked it. NOPE lol. I'm glad you did though!
Thread: "Momcozy pumps"
What settings do you use for your momcozy? I feel like my spectra empties my way better
Thread: "Momcozy pumps"
I have the S12 pro and hate it. Not even slightly discreet and I get virtually no milk. It's put me off trying any other wearables.
Thread: "Momcozy pumps"
I’m deciding on the S12 pro because I’m a little tired of setting up the Medela swing maxi and being wired although slightly portable… and this sounds so promising! Can you elaborate on how you fixed the user error please? Was it just positioning? The bulk ones doesn’t bother you anymore? Do you ever use it outside of your home?
Thread: "Best wearable for low supply?"
Momcozy S12 pro I used it exclusively for 4 weeks and really maintained/increased my supply. I now use my zomee z2 with phanby wearable cups for all 7-9 pumps per day. I also have the Bella baby wearable but I don't get the same output as I did with my S12.
Thread: "What are the best Wearable pumps?!"
Thread: "Help me pick a breast pump!"
Also I need a larger bra for the wearable than for my normal nursing/pumping bra from kindred bravely.
Thread: "Best breast pumps?"
• Hospital grade - Spectra (I got the pink one through insurance) • Wearable - momcozy s12 pro • Hand pump - Medela (yellow one) It ranges with how much milk I get from each one but I love them all!
Thread: "Best wearable pump 2024?"
LOVE LOVE LOVE my S12 Pro and seriously don’t know what I would do without it!
Thread: "Why did you choose your wearable pump, what do you like about, what would you change?"
Thread: "What’s the strongest wearable pump?"
I agree. I have the spectra and got the s12 pro thinking I’d use it at work and to make it easier to pump while home on maternity leave. I only use my spectra now, I’ve gotten used to the output and I never quite got the hang of wearables. Though I will say I didn’t try very hard.
Thread: "Best wearable breast pump"
Hate the m5 too. Pains, and doesn’t yield any output for me. I contacted MomCozy and they’re sending me s12 pro to try for free.
Thread: "Undersuppliers, this is for you! Thinking about getting a wearable?"
I use different combos. I start with stimulation. mode for about 5- 8 mins Then I switch to the dual mixed mode for about 10-15 min And the remainder mode I use the expression mode Sometimes I switch the mixed and expression around, but I usually always start with stimulation.
