I know this is kinda old, but I’d like to also talk about my experience with them. I am 9 weeks pp. I got the M9 and have been using it since Christmas Eve 2024. I also have a spectra s2 and a medela in style with the cups. I haven’t used the medela since I got the m9. The M9 has been my primary pump. I wouldn’t say I’m an exclusive pumper because I also breastfeed in the middle of the night and occasionally during the day, but baby girl gets more breastmilk bottles than boob. I pump anywhere from 4-6 times a day depending on how much boob baby gets. I absolutely love these. I am getting more ounces with the m9 compared to the spectra. I was averaging about 6 oz total when using the spectra for 15-20 minutes, because honestly I got over pumping and would rarely pump for the full 30 mins. With the spectra, even if I pumped for the full 30 mins, I’d maybe get an extra half ounce combined compared to stopping at 15-20 mins, so it wasn’t really worth it to me. My boobs were also very sore because I had to have it on the highest setting and have to manipulate the flanges while pumping, or I just wouldn’t get the same output. With the m9, I pump the full 30 minutes because it doesn’t feel like 30 mins actually goes by. According to the app, I’ve been averaging 7.06 oz a session, but I also pump after breastfeeding, so there have been quite a few 2-4 oz sessions in there that are bringing down that total. My highest session with the m9 was 11 ounces and was after not pumping for 5.5 hours because I was at a wedding and forgot to bring them lol my highest with the spectra was 10 oz in the same time period. There is a feature on them that can tell you when the collection cup is full. However, you have to turn it on through the app. I didn’t one time and it leaked. I also leaned all the way over to pick something up off the floor and it leaked. Other than that, as long as the collection cups are full snapped into the flanges, it shouldn’t leak. If you made it this far, I appreciate it! I’m going to shorten it real quick. Pros: Convenience Very good suction for those that need the high suction to get output (I average about a 10 out of 15 on the m9 and used 11-12 which is the highest on the spectra) No sore nipples or boobs because of the soft flanges The app is sooo amazing and convenient Same output as spectra Don’t look too crazy under a shirt Lids to store milk in the collection containers 4 collection containers come with the m9, along with different sized inserts, lids, charger cords, etc App keeps track of how much you pump as long as you enter in the ounces Charge lasts longer than a day for me (although my left one loses charge a lot faster than the right-I will end up calling momcozy about it eventually but right now it’s not an issue) Cons: Loud motors (people know I’m pumping but idc. Someone else might) Weird shaped collection cups (hard to get every drop of milk out of them) A lot of parts to wash And this one is dumb, but it doesn’t come with charging blocks. I have an iPhone with lightning charger and usbc on the other side. These take usbc with usb on other side and I had to buy charger blocks with USB’s in it to charge them Takes a long time to charge. About 3 hours to charge from 30-40% to 100% Pump will start on last setting, so if you were adventurous with high settings when the last session ended, there’s a good 3 seconds of shock before it adjusts down (I just change the setting before I turn them off now) Wish it was a 6 oz cup for me personally ETA: the fridge hack did not work well for me with these. Idk if the rubber pieces just get too cold, but I would get less output after they were stored in the fridge for a few hours
i love my momcozy M5 and M9. they actually empty me better than my medela. I definitely prefer the M5 over the M9 cuz it’s easier to empty the milk but the M9 is more discreet when i’m pumping at work. Hope this helps!

Thread: "Momcozy's M9 Mobile Flow review"
I just received my Momcozy M9. I was very torn between the Willow Go and the M9. My choice to purchase the M9 was based off many reviews of the Willow that sounded like it was less than ideal for an undersupplier like myself, ie didn't have enough suction/ didn't empty people fully. I have very small flange sizes (13 &15), so the inserts it came with weren't small enough. The inserts I use for my Spectra fit perfectly so I didn't have to buy anything separately. You do not have to use the Momcozy brand inserts. For me, the amount of parts to wash is not a huge deal, I'm using them as secondary pumps for on-the-go as I have a Spectra that's my primary pump. I also purchased the Medela cleaning wipes to use when I can't wash with soap and water. I've used the pumps 4x so far, and here's my thoughts: 1st use: I went slow with settings just to get a feel for it, tried it out at my house. The low settings seemed pretty gentle, and I didn't get crazy with all the options. Just a few mins on stimulation and then expression, and alternated twice during my 20 min session. Ended up with a pretty average amount for me of ~2oz total (yep, very low supplier 🫤) 2nd use: at a friend's wedding- used in the parking lot, my husband said I didn't look as much like Dolly Parton as I felt, so that's a win! I feel like with a sweater or less revealing dress/shirt I would have been comfortable being seen by others, but I just hung around the car this time. Same thing, didn't get crazy with testing settings, stayed on the low end 1-2 and low option. Got about 2oz total session again, but it was an evening pumps, and I'm usually below 2 anyway 3rd use: While driving home from wedding- didn't bother me at all, they are fairly quiet but you can still hear them. Biggest distraction was the different cycles per side; if you don't turn them on at the same time, they aren't synced which feels strange when you're used to double- pumping with a Spectra. I bumped up the levels this time, going all the way to 6/7. BAD IDEA! I was super sore that evening at home, and I'm not sure if it can directly correlate that quickly, but I had lower pump amounts all night, especially from my slacker side. Cleaned with my other supplies at night, just soap and water. Parts are honestly easy to break down, and I love that the reservoirs are also travel storage containers! 4th use: afternoon at home, tried the customization choice, where you can set up your pump cycle for each side and run it automatically, which I love. There is a pre-loaded option for Milk Increase which i got very excited about, so I tried that. First, it worked! I got 2 oz total from my slacker side alone, (which has only happened once before on a morning pump that I missed an alarm and went 4 hours instead of 3). Downside- OUCH. During the pumping, after about 13 mins, I could tell I was feeling a bit twingy, kinda achy, so I bumped back down to a low setting for the rest of my pump. I did go 30 mins (I pump 20min/2 hours or 30min/3 hours), and when I was done, I felt very tender. Upon inspection, my nipples were very cracked! I feel like they would have been bleeding had I stayed on that setting the whole time. The double silicone flanges + silicone inserts are very comfy, basically cushy after the hard plastic of the Spectra parts! I don't think they feel that heavy, of course I haven't tried other wearables, but they aren't too bad. It doesn't seem too difficult to match up the openings with my nipples, and the nursing bra I had on held them in place just fine (side note- love these bras so far! https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0D567LLC9?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share Supportive and soft! I did remove the padding from one pair to fit the wearables better) Size of collection containers- I've seen people say they leak if they get too full, I guess I can't comment on that because I'll probably never get close to the 5oz it is supposed to hold. I LOVE the app option. I can manage everything with my phone without having to shove my hand down my shirt. Closing thoughts- I think I'm going to like these pumps, but I would highly recommend easing into use so you don't cause damage to yourself. I gave myself a 3 hour break after the ouchie pump, and while I'm still slightly more sore than normal, I used Earth Mama nipple butter in between, and my regular pump settings and got my average amount with my reg. amount. I'll come back with an update after a while!

Thread: "Best handsfree pump?"
Agree with the others that say you shouldn’t need one if all goes well- if you’d like to be proactive and feel prepared, I’d suggest making a very casual shortlist of the options available. I remember spending quite a bit of time around the 4-6 week mark researching pumps and I resented not being able to spend with baby. I have an Elvie and it served me well - I used it when I had to be away from baby overnight. Be sure to get the correct flange size because that really impacted my output. They have guidance on the website. I also looked into Fraupow (recommended by my LC) and Momcozy but ended up going for Elvie because I was looking for something discreet and quiet.

Mom cozy M9 ---> If I could afford it, that's what I'd get. I have the m5, cleans me out very efficiently. Edit: I exclusively pump due to oversupply so my pump is an extension of my body rn.

Thread: "Momcozy's M9 Mobile Flow review"
I would have to disagree on some of this. I had the m6 (one of the motors broke after 1 month and Momcozy refunded me 100% so I put it towards the m9). I would say they are equally as heavy while on and to me they are a little more discrete under a shirt than my m6 was. I think the double silicone flange is much more comfortable than the m6 and my spectra and it also empties me just as effectively as my spectra, where the m6 did not. I do agree the number of pieces is obnoxious and the collection cups are kind of odd shaped but I felt this way about the m6 as well. My m6 would leak out of the bottom of it if I didn’t have it on just right so that seems like an equal evil to the m9. The carrying case is slightly bigger than the m6 but they provide the same experience. I haven’t had any issues with it slipping in my bra either, but I wear mine pretty tight even without the pumps. Ultimately if I were to have to get either the m6 or the m9 again, I would 100% choose the m9, it’s more comfortable and I do really like the convenience of the app.

Surprisingly, a lot of people have S1 lying around since it’s probably the most popular, so if you’re okay with used, my tip for you is to ask in your local buy nothing group on Facebook or on Nextdoor if anyone has one. It’s a closed system pump so no milk would get in the machine.
With that said, I’ve heard so many times from other people that their Momcozy crapped out on them within a few months and they’re known to delete negative reviews… Sure, they’ll probably replace it when it’s still under warranty but do you really want to deal with the hassle when you’re busy enough with a new baby?

Momcozy! I got spectra with my insurance, used it few days before i tried the Momcozy, and never looked back! Also, im pretty sure breast size doesn’t really affect your ability to use wearable breast pump. Just make sure you have a very well supporting bra to fit the pumps in. You’ll be fine! Congrats on the twins!
Girl I bought a wearable Anwike off Amazon for $50 and it's the only pump I use. I bought a 2nd set too after a few months. Idk why ppl make pumping so complicated and say wearables aren't good or only to use name brand ones. I have momcozy m9 and prefer my Anwike ones. Maybe I've gotten lucky though. I've never used a wall pump. I use these while feeding on the other side, cleaning, driving, eating, holding baby, walking outside, etc.

Thank you so much! This was so so helpful! Are you still liking them? I broke down after hours on end of research and bought the m9, but I’m scared to open it and find out I don’t like it and can’t return it lol. So here I am reading real reviews from lovely mothers such as yourselves 😂. I was also torn between the willow go and m9.
Thread: "Why did you choose your wearable pump, what do you like about, what would you change?"
Is the cleaning/output issue with the M9s the only con for you? I have the momcozy M5 and I really like it, but I have to admit I don't have much to compare it to yet. I find it's comparable output wise to what I get with the medela pump in style. I do 30mins with the M5s and 15-20mins with the medela, and I get a total of 4.5-8oz per pump session (usually like 6-7oz). It sounds like both of these pumps have more parts to wash than the freestyle though based on what you stated. I am curious what output looks like for you with the M9 & freestyle & spectra if you dont mind me asking??
For OP in case they are considering these options... I think my biggest complaints with the M5 & pump in style are:
1. The M5 has a tiny piece I have to be extra careful not to drop into the sink & down the drain (literally happened the first time I washed them 🤦♀️ thankfully the set comes with extras of that piece).
2. It sounds these have less customizable settings than others like the spectra everyone recommends online? For me this is ideal right now because I would get overwhelmed if there were even more buttons and settings to configure. The M5 and pump in style do have some flexibility, but I'm more of a "press start and leave it alone" kind of person.
3. The medela pump in style has a battery pack, so I could choose to walk around with it, but it's less convenient since the whole thing hangs outside of my bra... easy to bump into and knock off. Plus the tubing would be annoying. So I just use that one plugged into the wall, and use the M5s when I want to walk around, use the bathroom, cook, etc.
The M5 was recommended like crazy to me on tiktok and by friends and family. It's been super convenient, auto shuts off at 30min mark, will remember your previous settings and use those by default, and I think it's pretty easy to measure, pour, wash, and assemble. If you/your partner wanted a wearable pump to use alongside a nonwearable one, I could see the M5s being a good option to do some more research on.

I hate the momcozys I have the M9. So many parts to clean for little output. I personally like the Medela Freestyle. The freestyle has 3 parts to clean (and flanges if needed) SO EASY. Plus I usually get the same output like from my spectra, although I haven’t tried it for a morning session. Just my daily sessions. She will have to experiment and see what she likes.

Whether it started out that way hospital grade generally refers to the suction strength of the pump, which is measured in MMHG so if you’re looking for a particularly strong pump, you can try to look up the pumps rating that way. That being said hospital grade pumps that I have experience with that are wearables would be the Willow go and the Momcozy brand and I believe my LV stride . Momcozy m9 was clear winner

My last pregnancy I tried both the Willow go (never heard of the Willow sync, I guess they are similar?) and the original Elvie (not the stride) and I really liked my original elvie. This pregnancy I wanted to try a new pump and went with the m9 and so far I really like it! It seems to be a dupe for the original elvie. I like the app, I like the size, and I feel like I get a similar output to what I get with my spectra.

I had the Momcozy m9 and it was just okay. It was super cumbersome and had so many parts to clean, but I did get a decent output. I started having to use my wearable more with my husband at work and finally splurged on the eufy s1. Literally game changing. The output is equivalent to my spectra, the app presets are great, and while it still looks a little stupid like all wearables it’s WAY lighter.

Thread: "Help me pick a breast pump!"
Thread: "Best wearable breast pump"
Thread: "Best wearable breast pump"
Girl I bought a wearable Anwike off Amazon for $50 and it's the only pump I use. I bought a 2nd set too after a few months. Idk why ppl make pumping so complicated and say wearables aren't good or only to use name brand ones. I have momcozy m9 and prefer my Anwike ones. Maybe I've gotten lucky though. I've never used a wall pump. I use these while feeding on the other side, cleaning, driving, eating, holding baby, walking outside, etc.
Thread: "Momcozy's M9 Mobile Flow review"
I think my biggest complaints with the M5 & pump in style are: 1.
Thread: "Current breast pump recommendations!"
Maybe I’m the odd one out but I get just as much with my wearable (Momcozy M9) as I do with my Spectra S1.
Thread: "Why did you choose your wearable pump, what do you like about, what would you change?"
Thread: "Be straight up- what’s the BEST wearable ?"
You're going to get a bunch of different answers because it varies from person to person! Most people here love the Baby Buddha, but it just didn't work well for me. I love my MomCozy M9, but have seen lots of people say they hate MomCozy. Unfortunately, you'll just have to try something and go from there. On the breast size concern, my size is currently 38O and that hasn't caused any problems for me for pumping. Other than finding pumping and nursing bras in the right size!
Thread: "Momcozy's M9 Mobile Flow review"
The M9 is trash. It leaks everywhere. It only holds 3.5oz even thought the cup is 5oz. It’s heavy. It’s got too many parts and the milk pools in all those parts making it an absolute mess to empty. So pissed they’re selling this thing for $270.
Thread: "Momcozy's M9 Mobile Flow review"
I have had the same experience with my M9 outperforming my Spectra and was thinking that maybe I just wasn’t using the Spectra correctly. Nice to know there’s someone else out there that also gets more from their M9! It’s quickly becoming my main pump for the same reasons you listed.
Thread: "Momcozy's M9 Mobile Flow review"
I have the m9’s and honestly I love them for portable, on the go pump. However, I would not use it as my primary pump. I am currently waiting on the v1 Pros to show up to my doorstep. Kind of excited for those. I’m looking to replace the zomee Z2 with them, but who knows if I’ll like it enough to replace them.
Thread: "Undersuppliers, this is for you! Thinking about getting a wearable?"
I have elastic nipples as well and find that I respond better to hard flanges rather than the silicones. I tried momcozy s12pro and it didn’t work for me, but then I tried momcozy m9 and it’s been working great! I got the same output as my baby Buddha (my main pump). I also respond really well to eufy and elvie double. https://preview.redd.it/nz26jsrva8je1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=0e4e55d20e9ea98f39da1d9afa5fd0b2f4b12637
Thread: "Be straight up- what’s the BEST wearable ?"
Where do you get pumping and nursing bras if you don’t mind me asking. Another larger chested woman lol
Thread: "What’s your favorite portable/wearable breast pump?"
I’m on the M9 now — way stronger than my last wearable and still a normal pulling motion. It’s comfy once positioned right. Only downside is I have to adjust the angle sometimes but honestly for a wearable it’s been pretty great.
Thread: "Best pumps for working moms?"
I got really lucky and found an almost new spectra on FB marketplace for $20 - highly recommend browsing for a used one online. I have one at home and now keep the second one at work. I have the Momcozy m9 which can get me 3oz-5oz in 15min depending on when I last fed baby. I only use them while driving when I’m in a pinch. If I have another, I want to try the Eufy.
Thread: "Current breast pump recommendations!"
Same here! I use the eufy s1s this time exclusively and I’ve had no issues 4 months in. They’re great for me!
Thread: "Best portables with hospital grade suction?"
Thread: "Momcozy pumps: overhyped or worth??"
I love my mom cozy m9. I also have the m5 and it barely has any suction. Sometimes I get more from the m9 than I do my spectra. I think it so just depends on the person
Thread: "Which Momcozy wearable pump and why?"
Interesting! [This review](https://www.reddit.com/r/ExclusivelyPumping/s/MZbW8mNeYc) says there are 7 because the duck bill and the the back flow are actually two parts apiece. And then there is the optional insert. Perhaps most folks don't wash the pieces separately.
Thread: "Momcozy's M9 Mobile Flow review"
Thanks this is so helpful! Can I ask what setting and level you use the m9 on to get the output you do? Still trying to figure mine out.
Thread: "What’s your favorite wearable pump?"
I use this with legendairy cups and it does well. I was thinking of trying the M9 though. Just trying to figure out if I should really spend more money on pump stuff though 🤣
Thread: "Hands free breast pumps"
I have a mom cozy m9 and love it as a primary pump.
Thread: "Which wearable breast pump would you recommend as a primary pump? (FTM)"
I have a spectra S1 for at home, and then I have a Momcozy m9 for work. I really like it!
Thread: "Why did you choose your wearable pump, what do you like about, what would you change?"
I love my two wearables. I have the Momcozy M9 & the Elvie Stride. Both empty me equally well. Elvie Stride - $170, still have pumping tubes but small and compact, easy app, VERY quiet, clunky collection system Momcozy M9 - $230, completely cordless, little louder, slightly less friendly app, great collection system
Thread: "Why did you choose your wearable pump, what do you like about, what would you change?"
Thread: "What is everyone’s favorite pump these days?"
For wearables I DO NOT recommend the Momcozy M9. So my pieces!! And the white plastic part that connects to the duck valves broke off (on both pumps !!! )
Thread: "Best portable breast pump?"
I’m using the momcozy m9 myself and I really like it. It doesn’t feel too restrictive when worn, so I can still hold my baby or do some light chores while pumping. My friend uses the m5, which is a bit more affordable, and it’s also pretty easy to get covered through insurance.
