I bought Momcozy M5's before I came across the comments and posts about them getting their good reviews sneakily. It's not my favourite thing in the world, but I don't have the funds to buy multiple pumps and compare. I use them when I'm out and about or too busy around the house. They get the job done but I don't like to use them more than twice a day as I get clogs then. As an exclusive pumper, I use Spectra as my primary pump. My Spectra has worked for 8 months of EPing with my first baby, and now 6 months and counting with my second. It might just outlive me lol.
I had a Spectra S2 and it was eating up my mental health. I ordered wearable Momcozy’s, two actually (M5 my fav and S12) and I meant to use all 3 but _very quickly_ (like probably in just half a day lol) dropped the Spectra and never looked back. I just couldn’t. Pumping was already ruining postpartum for me so the wearable option made it at least a bit tolerable. For me, it was wearable or nothing. I know many people can do the Spectra and even make it somewhat portable. I wasn’t one of those people, I didn’t have the drive for it. But if I were you, or more if I could go back in time, I would choose something wearable because I feel I completely wasted my free option with the Spectra. (Side note, you can order directly from Amazon with an FSA/HSA card without sending receipts or waiting for an approval! Lifesaver. That’s how I got my Momcozy “for free”.) ETA: I exclusively pumped because baby developed bottle preference and I couldn’t get him back to breastfeeding. They do not recommend portables only for exclusive pumping but I didn’t care. I really was about to explode mentally from being tied to a pump. It was getting really bad and wearables saved me.

I like my willow go. I can generally get 3-5 oz each time. It’s pull it’s comparable to my spectra so it’s an easy transition. So MANY parts to clean though. In addition, if you pump above 4oz on one side, it has been prone to leaking out the flange for me which sucks- considering it’s suppose to hold up to 5oz. I tried the MomyCozy M5 and did not respond to it. I could never set my nipple right and the suction actually hurt. I was so hopeful to have a second pump that was easier to clean and that the fridge hack would work with, but it never panned out.
I’m 5 weeks postpartum, and have been using momcozy m5 wearables for the past week. I know some people on here say they get less output with the wearables, but this is not been the case for me thankfully. They make it a lot easier to pump and care for a newborn. The one issue with the momcozy for me was that it was really hurting my nipples at first, but maybe they got used to it because it doesn’t hurt anymore.

I don’t think any pump on the market is silent. If you’re going for the “they have no idea I’m pumping” vibe, no wearable breast pump will get you that; they’re all noisy and most of them are awkwardly bulky. Other people may have had different experiences but in my opinion, no. I have the spectra and for my last kiddo it was my only pump at first thinking I could get away with using it with a well fitting pump bra and carrying it around. It was technically possible but very annoying. I'd be doing dishes and if I leaned forward just a little too far I'd bump the counter and break the seal on a boob and have to reposition and clean up whatever milk leaked out, I couldn't wear one and nurse on the other breast because it was too in the way of my sons little wiggle legs, etc. It worked really well but only when I was just sitting with it hanging out. I ended up getting a wearable and using both which I'm doing again this time

I got the spectra S1 and the Momcozy M5 wearables and love both. Fellow undersupplier here 👋 Thanks for this post! I am 7wpp and I recently switched out my Mandela Symphony MOTN pumps with my Elvie wearable and was worried about tanking my supply. This reassures me 😊 also is momcozy m5 better than other wearables? I didn't do much research before getting my Elvie. I have the Momcozy S9s and the M5s. The M5s I take whenever I am traveling (the carry case they come with is great) and I use slightly more often than the S9s due to the smaller size of them (they are less noticeable while wearing). If I’m feeling a bit engorged and my baby can’t get it all I will use the S9s as I feel they have better suction. The M5s are very slightly easier to clean and I like that the motors take a good bit of pulling to get off as I have dropped the S9s in the past.

I'm in the same group. I think it's a growing minority and will soon be the majority. Wearables have really evolved in the last couple years. The commenter you're replying to is basing their experience off their first baby (presumably 2+ years ago) and even since then the technology has improved significantly. I think my greater output with my momcozy m5 vs my spectra had to do mostly with the fact that I didn't hate wearing them and could actually get stuff done and care for my baby. I didn't feel trapped on the couch pumping. This allowed me to relax more and also pump longer periods of time. And I also use flange inserts to get a proper fit.

Nipple placement is important. I hate to admit the number of times that I thought the units were in correctly, and they weren't. 29 wasted minutes.
Momcozy S12 Pro for me, and actually 2 friends as well after my experience with it. It saved my pumping journey.
For reference - I'm almost 5 months post partum, and I EP 5-6 times per day. I went through hospital-grade Medela, Neno Primo (which is cheap, good and reliable, but not hands free), Neno Camino, and Momcozy M5 (which was the worst of all, totally different than S12 Pro). I've been using S12 Pro exclusively for 3,5 months now.
I know it can vary from person to person, but honestly, to me S12 Pro is just sturdy and solid. My output is the biggest with it, and it's surprisingly reliable. I never use power bigger than 2. I also successfully power pumped with it and managed to get a stable +100ml more since a couple of weeks (I had a sudden supply drop, which turned out to be my period coming back, and now I make more than ever before).
Hope it doesn't break, as I know wearables tend to do that. My M5 never worked as good, and it finally gave up. I don't miss it. However, if S12 Pro breaks, I either will fix it or go formula only. Can't imagine using anything else anymore ;)

I was so hopeful to have a second pump that was easier to clean and that the fridge hack would work with, but it never panned out.
Thread: "Mom cozy hands free worth it ?"
Thread: "Momcozy pumps"
I do not find my M5s discreet at all lol. I do use them exclusively though and have had great success for the last 3 months.
Thread: "Momcozy pumps: overhyped or worth??"
I have the M5s, and I definitely recommend. But the other thing to note is Momcozy’s customer service. One of my motors (while still functioning overall) started making a loud rattling noise. I reached out to Momcozy, sent them some information about what was going on, and they sent me a full brand new set! I was very impressed with how they handled the case and that has my recommendation!
Thread: "Hands free breast pumps"
I had the Momcozy M5 I think, and I absolutely loved it. It was such a game changer for me not to be tied to a pump. I felt like I was losing my mind and felt like a dairy cow. 😬 My insurance didn’t cover any of the in bra pumps so I went with momcozy because it was the most reasonably priced. Just don’t bend over while pumping. 😅
Thread: "Silent pumps"
I don’t think any pump on the market is silent. If you’re going for the “they have no idea I’m pumping” vibe, no wearable breast pump will get you that; they’re all noisy and most of them are awkwardly bulky. As for the quietest one on the market, I honestly don’t know and hopefully someone else can answer that for you but as a former M5 user, the M5 isn’t quiet at all
Thread: "Silent pumps"
I use the M5. Since they’re on my body, of course they do seem loud, but others around me can’t really even hear them. I get compliments from my family on how quiet they are.
Thread: "Momcozy pumps"
Same ie discreet 😂 if I know I’ll be in public with them on I have to wear a certain few shirts or else I look absolutely ridiculous lol
Thread: "Which wearable breast pump would you recommend as a primary pump? (FTM)"
I ended up getting a wearable and using both which I'm doing again this time
Thread: "Momcozy is shady"
Yup. No issues ordering from Amazon. I have both a bra and their m5 pump. The products are great and no issues with delivery via Amazon.
Thread: "Momcozy SUCKS"
Agreed on Spectra being a workhorse - I EPed for 11 months with my first and am 1 month in with my second and it’s still going strong 💪
Thread: "What are the best Wearable pumps?!"
I have Momcozy s9 pro and momcozy M5. I've been using the s9 pro exclusively for nearly 8 months and I'm very happy with the suction power and the cup capacity. They are best for pumping at home though and might be a bit clunky for pumping at work or out and about. I'm just starting to experiment with my M5. These are a lot more discreet, super compact and quiet, but I need to figure out if they get me the same output. They're so easy to clean though. I'm loving that part.
Thread: "Momcozy pumps"
Love the M5 it's easy to use, easy to clean, and empties me great. It's my favorite wearable, I've tried all the pricy ones and the M5 is 10x better
Thread: "First time mom! What do people find to be the best breast pump?"
I got the spectra S1 and the Momcozy M5 wearables and love both. If you can only get one I’d recommend the Spectra S1 or S2 since it has better suction and more modes but the wearables are a nice option to have when out and about or if you travel a lot. As a former NICU parent who had an hour commute twice a day to see my baby the wearables were a godsend for travel and I used them more than the spectra while my baby was in the hospital. Plan to use them for work when I go back.
Thread: "Undersuppliers, this is for you! Thinking about getting a wearable?"
Initially, I got abysmal output with it so I quit using it but after looking at some tips and tricks on TikTok I now get slightly less output(2 ounces) than my Madela symphony (2.5 ounces).
Thread: "Help me pick the best breast pump"
I got the Momcozy M5 wearable one. I love them, I can just pop them in my bra and pump while I do other things
Thread: "Best Affordable Wearable Pump?"
i love my momcozy M5 and M9. they actually empty me better than my medela. I definitely prefer the M5 over the M9 cuz it’s easier to empty the milk but the M9 is more discreet when i’m pumping at work. Hope this helps!
Thread: "Undersuppliers, this is for you! Thinking about getting a wearable?"
My m5 is supposed to arrive tomorrow. I'm trying to stick with my Spectra schedule for one more night. Can't wait to be able to squeeze in more time for pumping while also being able to keep on top of everything else. My supply is already super low due to not having time to pump so I justified the purchase by telling myself more pumping is better than none even if it's considered less effective
Thread: "Momcozy pumps"
i love my m5! i got the spectra s2 as my main pump and the m5 as my ~travel friendly~ pump and it empties me just as well if not the same as my spectra tbh. my only mild gripe with it is that i can only wear it around people (except my immediate family) with verrrry specific shirts unless i want to openly be in my fembot era lol
Thread: "Undersuppliers, this is for you! Thinking about getting a wearable?"
I got the M6 and it made SUCH a difference 😭 I want to see if I can hook the cups to my spectra just to see which one has a stronger pull
Thread: "Which wearable breast pump would you recommend as a primary pump? (FTM)"
Thread: "Help me pick a breast pump!"
I got the spectra s2 through my insurance for free. I used it at home and then purchased the momcozy m5 with my own money for on the go. Both were great
Thread: "I’m a first time momma looking for a wearable breast pump what’s the best one?"
Thread: "Wearable Pump Recommendations"
I have the momcozy m5’s and get just as much output as with my spectra’s
Thread: "Help me pick the best breast pump"
This is so helpful. I appreciate your insight and vulnerability. I’m sorry it was so mentally draining. I’m so nervy to pump. It seems to mentally taxing!
Thread: "Momcozy pumps"
I have one m5 and it works decent for me but for some reason it literally feels like it’s gonna rip my nipples off? Anyone else?
Thread: "Best portable breast pump?"
I exclusively pump for my baby and the [hands-free M5](https://arvita.link/lbuikq) from Momcozy is the best portable option I've found. It's comfortable, easy to use, and great for on-the-go pumping.
Thread: "Which wearable breast pump would you recommend as a primary pump? (FTM)"
Mom cozy M9 ---> If I could afford it, that's what I'd get. I have the m5, cleans me out very efficiently. Edit: I exclusively pump due to oversupply so my pump is an extension of my body rn.
Thread: "Momcozy pumps"
Nipple placement is important. I hate to admit the number of times that I thought the units were in correctly, and they weren't. 29 wasted minutes.
Thread: "Best Affordable Wearable Pump?"
I love my momcozy m5. I don’t even use my spectra anymore!
Thread: "Best wearable pump 2024?"
Thread: "Momcozy pumps"
Love my M5’s but do find it finicky putting them together. At random times I don’t get suction and have to keep trying to put the motor back on just perfect. It gets a bit frustrating at times. I’ve also melted parts easily while boiling them for sanitizing. This has never happened to any of my other pumps.
Thread: "Completely overwhelmed with which pump to choose..."
I love my momcozy M5 I don’t see that on your list but it draws more milk than my spectra
Thread: "Best wearable for low supply?"
I have a lower supply and supplement with formula currently and use a Momcozy M5 exclusively at only 6wpp! It’s worked for my and my supply has actually continued to increase about 6-10oz each weeks total the last 3 weeks. I know that isn’t everyone but it’s been my experience! I personally went with the Momcozy because I can’t be convinced $300+ is worth it for a pump! I was close to wanting to quit too because it’s just so challenging with a wall pump and taking care of LO, and using the wearable has really changed my experience! Edit: I do pump for longer - 30-40 minutes each time, BUT since it’s a wearable it doesn’t really feel inconvenient!
Thread: "Opinions on wearable breast pumps"
I like the momcozy s12 pro , like emeyem mentioned being empty is not the norm , but I definitely feel empty & it also helps that pretty much done pumping after 10 minutes if even that. I think I would have gotten the M5 or v2 just bc of the bulky-ness of the s12 but it’s pretty easy to hide with sweaters / sweatshirts
Thread: "Which wearable breast pump would you recommend as a primary pump? (FTM)"
Momcozy M5. Just like regular pumps, portables work best when you utilize the settings properly ie start with stim, then pump mode increasing the intensity every few minutes. Some folks say they don’t work as well but the M5 worked as well as my hospital grade one
