If I had my time again, I would have gone pigeon and not medela (with the calma teats) as the flow was too fast.

Thread: "Using breast milk with a bottle"

I go between breastfeeding and bottle w pumped milk. Have had no issues using/switching between Dr Browns (Options/Anti Colic) and we have a couple Phillip Avent plus some Medela Calma on the way lol! My babe is only 9 days tho sooo much younger. I have the Medela Freestyle Flex which I’ve have a really easy time with!! I was lazy in my research but my cousin was incredibly delivery so I took her recco. My babe feeds so great with all the above plus boobie!

No, they’re still in production! You can pick them up from Boots, Amazon, Asda, etc. I loved the Calma teats because they fit on the medela pump bottles and it meant just taking one of those out of the fridge and popping a teat on lol. Now she’s on formula, we switched to the MAM bottles. I’ve never had issues with water getting in through the bottom though?

Medela calma use to be the best for bottle feeding breastfeed babies - one size teet and requires the same sucking mechanism but I'm pretty sure they've been discontinued. If you are heating up frozen breast milk it is easier to warm up the milk bag and then decant to a bottle. Although honestly it makes your life easier if you get them use to colder milk as soon as you can
