Lifefactory bottles

Lifefactory bottles are glass baby bottles designed with a silicone sleeve for grip and protection. They are compatible with narrow neck nipples, allowing parents to choose from various options for their baby.

Pros (+)

  • Durable glass construction feels safer than plastic
  • Silicone sleeve provides grip and protection
  • Compatible with various narrow neck nipples

Cons (−)

  • Some babies may not like the nipples
  • Not compatible with all breast pumps
  • Glass may be heavier than plastic options

Why parents like it

Parents appreciate the glass construction, which is seen as safer and more eco-friendly than plastic. The silicone sleeve adds a layer of protection and makes the bottles easier to hold.

Common complaints

A few parents have issues with the nipples, stating they do not work well for their babies. Additionally, some parents wish the bottles were compatible with their breast pumps.

Best for

Parents looking for eco-friendly glass bottles that are easy to grip. The tradeoff is that finding the right nipple may require some trial and error.

Bottom line

Lifefactory bottles are a solid choice for parents wanting durable glass options, but be aware that the nipples may not suit all babies.

isn't it weird that they are all linked to amazon when we know the issues with ordering from amazon?

We had life factory bottles that have now been passed on to the next kid. I think most of the ones that had lead was in the paint on the outside of the bottle, so I would avoid ones with paint

We used glass bottles from LifeFactory, they have a silicon sleeve that makes them easy to grip and provides some protection if dropped. They were great! The nipples I bought were silicone.

We used life factory bottles! I haven't seen those recommended on here yet. They have a silicone sleeve so they're less breakable. We're using them for baby 2 as well, though haven't tried them with her yet.

Thread: "Compatible Baby Bottle Cap Rings and Nipples"

HOLY MOLY THIS IS AMAZING. Have been using Evenflo balance + standard neck and just ordered new nipples because our bottles seem to end up everywhere… that’s what happens when you have four different family members doing childcare… we have plenty of LifeFactory glass bottles, but only 6 total nipples/rings, which just isn’t going to cut it. The new nipples arrived… and ugh, no rings!!!! Not helpful!! I couldn’t find them online anywhere and was researching compatibility options when I found your post!! Annoying that nothing is compatible.. but many thanks for tip about reaching out to Evenflo, doing so now! 🙏🍼

Thank you for this post! I was gifted a bunch of LifeFactory bottles, but I don't like their nipples. I couldn't find the Evenfl balance+ cap rings anywhere, but I've now reached out to their customer service! Hoping to get a bunch of those with the balance+ nipples so I can make use of all of these bottles!
