Lansinoh bottle, VERY warm (warmer than fresh pumped), and baby has to be hungry but NOT starving. This has worked for a few people after I've suggested it here.

It was a struggle, but we finally got my EBF baby to take the Lansinoh bottle

I had an EBF baby that refused all bottles. I started freaking out right before I went back to work because obviously I needed her to take one from daycare. We tried soooooo many bottles. Lansinoh was the only one she took. She had no probleblem going between breast and bottle. These bottles saved my sanity!

Second this. Lasinoh are the only bottles my baby will take. They have to be nice and warm and also I need to hold him in my arms and walk around while giving him the bottle. Otherwise he will not take it.

We have a Frankenstein set up Lansinoh bottle with MAM nipple OR Philips Avent bottle with MayMom collar and a MAM nipple

Lansinoh is the best. We have tried almost all others.

Heck yeah, Lansinoh bottles to the rescue! Having kiddo play with the empty bottles during changes helped immensely, too. Went from bottle refusal to 5 oz in two-three weeks.

I’m so sorry😢 some people in my moms group said their LC recommended Lansinoh bottle with a Pigeon nipple. Also maybe a syringe if daycare is willing to do it- I have a 20 ml one and if you can get them to suck on a finger or paci then get a couple ounces in with the syringe. I’d also start trying straw cups, sippy cups, open cups, etc. I’m not sure if this is recommended or not, but if there’s anyway you could swing by during your lunch for a feed, and a feed in the parking lot before you take her in I’d probably do that as well.

Yes that was recommended by our LC as well as the lansinoh ones and the even flo!

Unfortunately Lansinoh bottles with Pigeon nipples is one of the combos we have been trying ☹️. You’re right, it’s looking more and more like we will need to look at other methods of feeding like sippy cups 😢 I was really hoping bottles would work out. We are a little far for a lunch feed but maybe I can talk to my boss for longer lunches for a little while at least. Thank you for all the suggestions!

My wife and I did the same thing. Our Lactation Consultant ranked the Avent bottle as her least favorite. OP- Try the Lansinoh bottle with Pigeon nipples.

OH READ THIS ITS IMPORTANT ! I’m going to give you the short story- I went through the same thing recently , apparently it’s a SUPER common issue for breastfed babies because they start to lose the oral skill of being able to suck (because our breasts adapt to the work they are doing and pick up slack.) after seeing different feeding specialist and taking my LO to OT for this issue , found you need to build up the oral skills so they can take a bottle . Ninni Co pacis are the bestttttt and was told to do face massages a specific way and train lo to take paci to build up oral skills to a bottle , lasinoh bottle is the one that worked best. From someone who spent literally months tracking down answers and finally finding an OT who could actually help, my lo now takes bottles like a charm any temp. Im happy to share more specific details with anyone interested . It took me forever to find real answers after trying legit every trick in the book.

Thread: "Are the glass pigeon bottles really worth the hype?"

The bottle is just the vessel, what matters is the teat. Narrow neck Pigeon bottles fit any other narrow neck teat and vice versa. Personally, the risk of breaking glass with sleep deprived clumsiness or baby grabbing and knocking it over is too much for me. Also consider the weight of it filled when Bub can hold the bottle themselves.

My LO had the same issue with clicking, etc. I tried 4 different bottles before I landed on lansinoh. They work so well for her. She is actually able to get a good latch. They may be a good fit for your LO as well.

Lansinoh slow flow nipples are what we've been using since month 2 or 3 (we started on the Pigeon SS nipple, then switched when baby was collapsing the SS nipple around 2mos). Baby is now almost 9mos and I expect we will continue to use Lansinoh Slow nipples until the end. Reminder that lansinoh and pigeon nipples are also compatible with the Maymom bottles and collars that fit also spectra pumps. So in our house we have 3 different brand of bottles with different threads but they all work with the same nipples.

Yes! We had a lot of issues with bottle refusal and went through a lot of trial and error until I saw lansinoh recommended on this sub. The absolute winner

My older daughter was very particular about her milk temp, we even went as far as to get a meat thermometer to make sure it was just right! Unfortunately, this little turd won’t take it warm, or very warm. I think she’s just refusing the artificial nipple all together.

Same here! We tried every fancy, expensive “breast shaped” bottle and Lansinoh saved us. Our boob goblin still grumbles at the bottle but he’ll at least take it, so I consider it a win ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Yes, the Lansinoh bottles have a good nipple shape with a gradual slope that makes latching easier! The only bottle my baby would touch too

Lansinoh being three simple parts and reasonably leak proof is great. They are the Wirecutter's pick for best bottle - surprised they don't get recommended here more. Dr. Browns was so finicky in comparison.
