Evenflo revolve 360 (I have the Slim version). Should grow with my kid for a long time and omg the ability to turn it to face me to get her in and out of our small vehicles is chef's kiss. We did a 12 hour road trip with her at 14mo in it and she was as comfortable as one can be during a 12hr trip. Whichever you choose, if you can afford it, splurge on something that rotates.
Thread: "Time for a toddler car seat--I'm so lost"
Just came to say that the rotating car seats are in fact as glamorous as they seem. I’d pay more for it. It’s life changing. We have the Evenflo revolve. I can’t recommend enough. It’s incredible. That is all.
Thread: "Considering skipping the infant carseat - are we crazy??"
Not crazy as long as you’re okay with taking the baby out every time you go somewhere which it seems like you are! Personally I would go with a rotating car seat especially in those earlier days and they are super easy to adjust without taking the whole thing out. The only downside is how much room they take up since they have to be fully reclined. I use the evenflo revolve 360 slim and it is soooooo nice!!
Thread: "what’s your favorite rotating car seat?"
I love our Evenflo revolve 360 extend. It has fantastic limits for each stage so I don’t have to rush my kids into the next stages until we’re ready.
Thread: "Please just tell me what car seat to buy"
Just being able to turn it makes it worth the price. It's helped my back so much.
Thread: "Evenflo Revolve Slim Recall"
Important note: the seats are still safe to use and the recall is not in regards to their crash durability. They found that some kids could reach the headrest and pick at it, which then becomes a choking hazard
Thread: "Please just tell me what car seat to buy"
We did a Rava in my car and a Revolve in my husband's. We're never buying another car seat that doesn't rotate again for kid #2
Thread: "Evenflo revolve 360 recall"
The recall is not a product recall, it's a card recall. Some of the seats didn't have the recall registration card included. The recall is not about the seat being unsafe. It's because they don't have a way to notify you of possible recalls in the future if you didn't get the card to register your car seat.
Thread: "Evenflo Revolve 360 owners-"
I was in an accident with my son November 21,2023. We were t-boned on the driver side. My son's Revolve 360 (passenger side) detached from the base and landed on the other side of the car towards the impact point. The carseat was installed with the seatbelt (preferred method) and locked into rearfacing position. We're were in a 2014 chevy cruze and all the curtain airbags deployed. With the Revolve 360, when reclined for rearfacing, there's no way for the seat to swivel to the rightside detach point. In my chevy, the backseat was too small to allow the sweat to swivel inward without being stopped by the door. We believe the force of the curtain airbags deploying and the fact that the vehicle was small, provided enough force to detach the seat. We returned the seat to evenflo for investigation and never heard anything. They replaced it with a Revolve 360 extend and we are hoping they will let us return it.
Thread: "Pricey convertible car seat? Worth it or marketing?"
After 2 kids and 4 car seats, we landed on the evenflo revolve 360. It spins sideways to load/unload your child, and you just spin it forward facing after they grow out of rear facing (around 3 years old depending on kids size) The sideways loading is LIFE CHANGING. It’s about $300, worth every penny. It also goes up to 120#, and you can use it as a booster when they are like 8.
Thread: "Please just tell me what car seat to buy"
I can’t imagine not having mine. I have a terrible back and it would be so much harder if I didn’t have the evenflo 360z I tell myself the cost is the same as 3 physical therapy sessions
Thread: "Time for a toddler car seat--I'm so lost"
Omg I just ditched my infant car seat for the evenflo revolve and it IS totally life changing. And she’s only 6 months lol
Thread: "Car seat recommendations? "
We have the evenflo revolve 360. I love the rotation and specifically picked it because it’s up to 50 lbs rear facing and 60 lbs forward facing because my son is also gaining like crazy (21 lbs at 7 months)
Thread: "Please just tell me what car seat to buy"
Yep the 360 is a life saver. We got 2.
Thread: "Best Infant Car Seat?"
Maybe a bit unpopular - but for the infant seat, i wouldn’t bother with the designer brands. It’s used for such a short period of time. The investment is better once they are in convertible seats. I did Chicco keyfit infant seat and Clek Fllo/ Evenflo revolve for convertibles
Thread: "Very stressed about travel carseats"
i used to cosco scenera that is often recommended in subs. i don't love it because it's not as easy to install as my fancy carseat (evenflo revolve 360 which doesn't work well with travel) but it got the job done and it made a huge difference flying. it looks like they have a bigger one for bigger kids.
Thread: "Evenflo revolve 360 recall"
It’s not a product recall. The registration card was forgotten on some of the seats, not that the seat is dangerous to use. The issues the seat itself has is because of improper use—ie without the base, or not “locked”. Edit: adding the statement from Evenflo Some customers recently received a misleading recall communication from Amazon regarding non-compliant registration cards. There is no safety risk and you may continue using your car seat. The products meet U.S. safety standards with respect to performance. It was discovered that some U.S. customers were able to accidentally purchase Canadian products online, meaning they received a Canadian registration card instead of a U.S. compliant one. If Evenflo has contact information, we will automatically send a corrected registration card. Those unsure if they are affected can check the model number on their product. Any Canadian model will have a model number that ends in C and labels in French and English. If this is discovered, customers can visit evenflo.com/pages/product-registration to share their contact information with Evenflo for potential recalls.

A lot of convertible seats *technically* fit a newborn, but not well. Infant seats are designed for babies to fit well but big kids can’t fit in them, convertible seats are designed for big kids, infants *can* fit but the seat wasn’t designed for them.
Thread: "favorite/best rated car seats? "
Evenflo revolve 360. We’ve had 2 baby trend car seats, a Graco car seat, and the evenflo and evenflo is hands down my favorite. Easy to rotate and it’s the one my daughter has cried the least in lol
Thread: "Time for a toddler car seat--I'm so lost"
Love Nuna but I’d flag that Evenflo has a new flame retardant free version of the Revolve as well. Rotating seat was a must for us.
Thread: "Cybex Sirona S vs. Evenflo Revolve 360"
If you're on Instagram, safeintheseat has a review of the two seats on her highlights. It's listed as 'Swivel seats'. It's pretty thorough.
Thread: "Evenflo Revolve 360 ..future recall car seat?"
I saw a video a while back of a cpst commenting on one of the cases where it detached, it was a big accident. The base and the seat were not locked together. I have to believe that the investigation is the right thing to do but most likely this is a case of people installing incorrectly.
Thread: "Time for a toddler car seat--I'm so lost"
Literally the evenflo 360 has been life changing!! And the weight limits are great. We opted to buy the extended version so it was more up front but the car seat will last for our daughter until she grows out of it!
Thread: "Evenflo Revolve 360 ..future recall car seat?"
I love ours, but remember reading a warming, maybe in a carseat group. Plus, I believe it's in the carseat manuel when the carseat is not in use. Don't leave it in unlocked postion. For if in a car accident, seat can detach from the base. I am wondering if this may be the case for any of these 6 accidents. They also added to the line the extended (up to 50 lbs RF) and the slim version. So curious which seats were all involved.
Thread: "Time for a toddler car seat--I'm so lost"
Sadly if you have two people who chauffeur baby you need two car seats. They don’t easily move between cars. I love my evenflo 360. I have a nuna also and let me tell you the revolving is the way to go. After the age of 1 my kid wasn’t all about that stroller life anyways. If they fall asleep in the seat you have big decisions to make lol. Good luck!
Thread: "Best Swivel Car seats"
All swivel seats are heavy We have the evenflo revolve 360 which we have used since birth it goes up to 50lbs rear facing and 65 lbs forward facing . The chicco fit360 is another good pick 40lbs rear facing and 65 forward facing.
Thread: "Pricey convertible car seat? Worth it or marketing?"
Be careful with the Evenflo revolve car seats. A recall may be coming. They are currently under investigation. https://www.whattoexpect.com/news/baby-products/car-seats/evenflo-revolve-360-car-seat-investigation
Thread: "Tell me your car seat recommendation!"
Convertible carseat or infant carseat? The most popular expensive option that's not rotating is the Nuna Rava. Very very easy to install and clean. For budget friendly options I think the Graco extend 2 fit is very popular. Not as easy to set up and what not but not a bad budget option. When it comes to rotating Convertible seats, a lot of people like the Evenflo 360 for its price. Problem with rotating carseats is the mechanism can be finnicky (depending on brand), and the rear facing weight/height limit being lower than most regular convertibles, but not all of them. When it comes to infant carseats it really depends on what stroller your getting, and if it's compatible with certain strollers to be used as a travel system, etc. I think the most popular option when it comes to premium brands is the Nuna Pipa RX. To more budget friendly brands I think Chicco has a good safety rating with the Chicco key fit 35.
Thread: "Best rotating rear-facing car seat for TALL baby?"
We use the Evenflo Revolve 360, zero complaints. When rear facing, I think the height limit is something like 40 inches.
Thread: "how good is Graco 4Ever DLX Grad car seat? or would you recommend us something else? my baby is 6 months old almost 7"
If you catch a good sale ( we are big fans of the Evenflo Revolve 360! It can be bought for mid 200s throughout the year on sale.
Thread: "Please just tell me what car seat to buy"
Evenflow revolve 360. Single installation, one handed swivel to both front and back. Convertible with booster seat option.
Thread: "Overwhelmed trying to pick a convertible car seat!"
Most (all?) convertible seats aren’t going to be simple to switch easily switch between cars. If you have two vehicles, you probably need two car seats. We have the Evenflo 360 Revolve and like it a lot. That said, car seats are big these days, and with my husband being 6’4, we had to buy a new vehicle and had limited options as to what we could fit (now that we’re having a second and need a convertible and infant seat).
Thread: "Evenflo Revolve 360 ..future recall car seat?"
It’s likely being investigated for the same reason the Maxi Cosi Coral was: people not installing all of the appropriate pieces. We don’t know if the car seats that separated were installed properly or had kids in them or even if both pieces were actually installed. (Yes, people have installed just the top part in their cars)
Thread: "Evenflo Revolve 360 ..future recall car seat?"
I reciewed the original documents from NHTSA. Yes, it is failing on labeling and instructions, but that DOES NOT MEAN that that's the reason AT LEAST 6 HAVE COME APART DURING CRASHES. DO NOT assume the investigation is only regarding labeling - labeling is the first and easiest thing they can PASS/FAIL. Understanding WHY 6 separated will take longer. "NHTSA is aware of at least six crash incidents in the field during which the Revolve360’s shell, as referred to by Evenflo on the Revolve360’s printed instructions, reportedly separated from its detachable base." https://www.nhtsa.gov/car-seat/EVENFLO/REVOLVE360/a__5453755?fbclid=IwAR3LNQWYuBT2wuRmZ6zhRtLBoj8nWKlyHgl47xSfcVC7a93CJnyHJv2V_jk#investigations

Thread: "Best car seat for a tall baby"
We have a 99% kid and the Evenflo Revolve 360 is a back and life saver. It rotates so it's easy to load and unload and then you just spin them into place. The slim version is great for smaller cars where you need to save space. Edit: I'm 5'1''
Thread: "Evenflo Revolve 360 ..future recall car seat?"
This is late and all, but my wife was in an accident with my daughter in this seat. It was a really bad accident. Both vehicles were totaled, my wife got her arm crushed. My daughter was completely unharmed. I know it's anecdotal. I definitely had my doubts about the seat when I first installed it but it seems very sturdy when installed properly.
Thread: "Which car seat do you have and what do you like/dislike about it?"
I have the revolve 360 slim and I love everything about it, but I will say the dang straps get twisted up really easy which is very frustrating to address. It's entirely possible I'm doing something wrong. This did not occur in our Chicco keyfit infant seat.
Thread: "Please just tell me what car seat to buy"
I have a bad back and can’t lift my 30 lb kid into the non-revolving seat without either hurting my back or hitting her head (or both!). The revolve is so, so helpful. My only minor complaint is that the built in cup holders are narrower than most of our water bottles but it’s worth the trade off for sure.

Evenflo specifically says that the seatbelt is the preferred method for their 360 seats, and the tether is required for either rear or forward facing.

Thread: "Cybex Sirona S SensorSafe Convertible Seat [BC]"
The rotation feature sounds great in theory but I haven't seen a single car seat tech in the Facebook groups I'm in recommend the Sirona. Here's a quote from one: >CPST >All seats undergo the same testing and it is pass fail, so all seats available for sale in Canada are safe... IF they are installed and used safely. >BUT >Every tech I know of who has used this seat has said it is terrible. One said it was incompatible in 4 of 5 vehicles she tried it in. Another was sponsored to review it and wouldn't even publish because it was so bad 😬 >The [Evenflo] Revolve is slightly better, but I don’t know if it would fit a newborn well. In general rotating seats aren't often recommended except to compensate for mobility issues. They tend to take up a lot of space relative to how long they fit real-life children, and there can be issues with the rotating mechanism and cleaning access. *SEATS For Kids Discussion Community* is a good Canada-based group to check out on FB. You can lurk and search your vehicle for recommendations without posting if you prefer.

Yes, 360 all the way. We’ve taken two extended road trips and the revolve was great to have.

Thread: "Analysis paralysis on which rotating convertible car seat to buy"
We have the Evenflo for husbands car, baby (well now toddler) is fine and constantly falls asleep. I have the Graco 360 for my car and personally like it more, but that might be because I use it more. To ease your mind, it can be scary trying to figure out the perfect car seat for your precious cargo, but ALL car seats in the US go through rigorous testing.
Thread: "Should I get an infant car seat? "
If you are worries about the size of the car seat, I would definitely try the Revolve 360 before buying. It is MASSIVE. Evenflo car seats in general are huge. There is an old post where a mom bought all 3 rotating car seat and the Evenflo was so much bigger. According to this review, newborns fit well in it https://csftl.org/evenflo-revolve360-review/
Thread: "Please just tell me what car seat to buy"
We have the 360 extend in our main car and the Graco 4ever in our backup car. I LOVED the 4ever until we got the spinning seat. Now I hate putting her in the backup car lol. Keeping them rear facing for as long as possible is so much easier with a rotating seat.
Thread: "Analysis paralysis on which rotating convertible car seat to buy"
Also just wanted to point out. The evenflo investigation started like almost two years ago and the only thing that was recalled was something about the foam in the headrest on certain models. Nothing has been recalled regarding the rotating function.
