Agreed! I have the ergo baby omni breeze and it’s sooo good!

I think it's all about fit. My husband loves our Ergobaby Omni Breeze and I find the fit really awkward

I much prefer my Tula free to grow over my ergobaby Omni breeze.
Thread: "What’s Your Holy Grail Carrier for Babies?"
My ergo baby Omni breeze. It has been a godsend. Our girl is only 6 months but we’ve used it pretty much since birth and she has always been so good in it. In fact, on days when she is refusing to be put down, she starts to dance when I bring it out because she knows what it does lol. It’s worth mentioning that I run very hot and I do run warm in this but I can only imagine that other carriers would be worse as this is the breathable option. I tried the moby wrap and just didn’t like it at all, the long extra cord just stressed me out. Plus I love being able to use the Omni in like every way possible. My neighbor generously bought it for us from our registry and it has been one of our most used items. Like almost daily.
Thread: "Opinion on ergobaby embrace"
You’re not wrong. I have the ergo embrace and I do think it’s a really nice, soft and easy to use carrier and good alternative to a wrap. However, they kind of just need to rest their head against your chest but there’s nothing to support it. I used it with my first and it wasn’t as much of an issue because I wasn’t chasing around a toddler, but with baby #2 I used it a few times and ended up getting the baby bjorn mini which I love (in the jersey fabric which is similar to the ergo embrace). I know baby bjorn isn’t loved on this sub but he’s still small enough that I feel I can get a decent m shape in his knees. What I love most about it is there’s absolutely no adjustment needed because everything just clips together so it’s the easiest carrier I’ve ever used and so easy to quickly put on by yourself. It also has excellent head support with the option to flip it down. I have the ergo Omni breeze which I love but now seriously considering the baby bjorn free because I love the ease of clipping in and not adjusting straps each time.
Thread: "Looking for back carrier - considering Osprey Poco Soft and Ergobaby Omni Breeze"
Your baby's growth will slow down around the one year mark. 33lb is the average 3 year old, but 45lb is the average 5 year old. Non of these carries will last that long since they'll be outgrown by length and width. Your baby is well within the average. The weight limit is only indicating that they hooked the carriers up to a machine, put some weight in it and they didn't rip. Especially ergobaby sells so many carriers because of their high maximum weight but lots of kids outgrown them around 1-1.9 years old. 35$ for the omni is a good deal. If it's not the right carrier for you, you can always sell it again. It's a good sturdy working horse. The back carry is more of a low back carry. If you want a high back carry you need to look at a half buckle (if you want a front carrying and hip carrying option) or an onbuhimo (high back carries only). Most people find the embrace uncomfortable around 15 lbs or around 3-5 months since it's a stretchy carrier and not very supportive once the child gets more mobile. ~~The hiking carrier is for hiking, not every day use. The child sits in it on a hard surface, the base is narrow so you need to use the stirrups for the kid's comfort. The kid is held upright by the harness, so it needs to be tight and the kid needs to be able to hold themselves upright on their own a lot. That happens when they're standing and walking.~~ edit: realized that the poco soft lt is not a hiking carrier. But stay away from car seat manufacturers and backpack manufacturers. Thry usually don't know how to make good carriers. The product pictures look awful, the carrier seems overly complicated. I love that their video says the legs should be in an ergonomic M position and the legs just dangle on this not even big baby. They also don't show the step of fastening the buckle in the back, probably because you really can't, it doesn't seem like the straps are very flexible. Seems like even if you open them up to make the buckle be more at your neck, it wouldn't ride up. The forward position is a crotch danger. The back carry position doesn't look ergonomic either (not even on your photo, but certainly not in the product pictures and videos). Don't buy that carrier. Have a look at other manufacturers, too. Like Lenny lamb, didymos, Osha. Their carriers also can achieve quite a high back carry. Or tula. That's more of a mid back carry.
Thread: "Babybjorn Harmony or One Air?"
I know this is not the question you asked, but I would look into an ergobaby Omni breeze. They’re better for the baby’s hips. https://ergobaby.com/baby-carrier/omni/omni-breeze/omni-breeze-baby-carrier-onyx-black?utm_source=goog+shopping&utm_medium=cpc&utm_term=ergobaby&utm_campaign=product+feed&click=sem&gad_source=1&gclid=CjwKCAiA_OetBhAtEiwAPTeQZ7sOzEnSic2XolQ_gu03BNWf_o4D-G4xYEu1igIwbntZ7SYw_JeARxoC1bQQAvD_BwE

I also loved the Ergobaby Embrace, and that’s why I bought the ergobaby omni breeze and I’m loving it so far
Thread: "I cannot decide between Ergobaby Omni Breeze, Ergobaby Omni 360 & BabyBjörn Harmony"
Baby Bjorn carriers tend to not get a lot of love here. They can’t make the adjustments needed to get a proper fit a lot of time. This is mostly the mini, but their other carriers also have issues. Both the Omni breeze and 360 could work for your needs. Do you want to have baby outward face at some point? My issue with the Breeze is that if the seat isn’t deep enough, the slides have a tendency to move inwards which makes it even harder to keep a good seat. It needs almost like a slide lock, but it doesn’t have it. We have the regular 360 too, and like it similarly. It’s a bit more bulky than the Breeze. Another brand to check out is Tula. I love my tulas so much more than the ergos. They have the explore which would be the model to consider.
Thread: "I cannot decide between Ergobaby Omni Breeze, Ergobaby Omni 360 & BabyBjörn Harmony"
What’s important to you in a carrier/what made these options stand out? There’s a big world of options out there so knowing what’s important to you helps narrow it down!
Thread: "What's your favorite baby carrier?"
We went with the Ergobaby Omni Breeze, because Ergobaby is the mainstream choice where we live. But honestly there are so many good full-buckle carriers. Maybe you could specify what you like, then people could chime in with specific suggestions. I've seen around here that Hope and Plum Lark is very popular for parents who love the X-strap on their back. I prefer H-straps, and Ergo can do both.
Thread: "Baby Carrier Recommendations [ON]"
We used a boba wrap for the first three months and then switched to the Ergobaby Omni Breeze. Both were fantastic and easy to use. Bonus points for being super easy to adjust because my husband and I are vastly different heights.
Thread: "Going to be a new dad! Which carrier do I get? I've seen a lot of people recommend Mabe Monarch Carrier & Ergobaby Omni 360. So many options its stressful."
It’s so dependent on the person and baby. But I like the happy baby OG. I don’t like our Omni breeze but it just doesn’t fit my body well. And my baby is small. So all in all it didn’t fit us well. I haven’t used the embrace, but it’s intended to be used in the newborn phase. If I were you I’d get one for newborn and wait on a longer lifespan carrier like the 360 to see what you and your baby like.
Thread: "Baby bjorn harmony vs ergobaby omni breeze vs ergobaby embrace?"
These kind of fit different needs-- Ergo Embrace is newborn specific, and it'll only fit for the first few months (~3 on average, but could be longer if your baby is small). Most people find that by the time baby hits 15lbs it's not supportive enough and baby sags. You can't world face in it, it's stretchy, and it's irresponsible of Ergobaby to advertise it for this purpose. Baby Bjorn Harmony is a newborn to toddler carrier, and it should fit now. It's an old-fashioned harness style carrier, and IMO it has a lot of bits, bobs, buckles, snaps, zips, etc to deal with on a daily basis. Unless you have a mobility issue that prevents you from reaching your back I wouldn't personally mess with this, unless you really like the design. Here's a tutorial so you can see how to set it up and put it on: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7JSBjs86El4 If you're planning on world facing later on this carrier doesn't provide much of a seat for baby, so they'll be dangling from their crotch (ouch!). Ergo's Omni Breeze is also quite utilitarian and baby gear-ish, much like the Bjorn. It may or may not fit your baby yet, it's a bit bigger. It will last til toddlerhood though. IMO this one is more user friendly and easier to deal with. If you can't live without world facing this carrier does it better. If you're really petite I wouldn't necessarily pick this Baby Bjorn or an Ergobaby, as the waistbands can be overwhelming on a smaller frame, and potentially dig into your ribs or hip bones. Generally apron style carriers are better for short bodies; Happy Baby's OG, Sakura Bloom's Scout, Oscha's Bairn, Hope & Plum's Lark, and Integra Baby carriers are all structured like this (though most won't fit a 4 week old). LennyLamb's Lenny Light is an excellent carrier-- it adjusts for small wearers, the waistband is soft and moldable, and it has a ton of adjustment for baby and wearer. It fits newborns. This would be a great alternative to the Bjorn or Ergobaby you're looking at.

Agreed, I am quite small and it’s too big for me
Thread: "Hot weather baby carrier comparison / advice "
I have the Happy Baby and it was not supportive enough for me. I can only wear for about 45 minutes before my back starts hurting. Conversely, I can wear the Ergobaby Omni 360 for hours on end indoors or outside without pain, especially in a back carry. My almost 20lb baby feels like nothing. And when you fold it down and use the waist belt to cinch it down, it gets pretty small. I love it, and it’s our go-to for long days and hiking. I’m in Tx and it’s fairly cool, but if I had it over again, I’d get the Omni Breeze that has integrated mesh panels I think. I do have a Lark on the way, because crossed straps work better for me, so we’ll see how that goes. The Ergo can be worn in an H or X strap configuration on your back, where the HappyBaby is only an H, and Lark is only an X. Ergo Omni 360 can do front facing you, front facing the world, hip, and back carries, and it supports up to 45 pounds. I thought I’d only ever use it for hiking or outdoor activities, but it’s no more difficult to put on or manage that the HB, so it’s become the everyday choice.
Thread: "Hot weather baby carrier comparison / advice "
Integra Solar is supposed to be great for hot weather, but I personally don’t have any experience with it. I have the ergo Omni breeze and it’s fine? Definitely bulky, but very supportive. Definitely a workhorse and very low maintenance. I live in the swampy south, and it gets hot, but no more hot than anything else. I like that I can just throw it in the washing machine, and personally I have no issues wearing it around the house for chores, but I know that’s not necessarily everyone’s experience with it. I also have a happy baby Onbuhimo but we are still trying to work out the kinks to get a comfortable carry. It’s very lightweight, typical linen properties, can pack down small. Little Zen One has a try before you buy program that might be worth looking into, and their Facebook group can answer a lot of questions
Thread: "Am I looking for a unicorn? Hot weather, quick to put on, works with front and back carry. "
Anddddd I just bought one. As soon as I saw the tutorial I knew it was exactly what I was looking for. $200 but I think I’ll get a lot of use out of it. Thank you :)
Thread: "Anyone buy a structured carrier after getting tired of the wrap?"
Like many others we also have different wraps depending on need. My husband uses an ergo a au omni breeze exclusively, and always has. I used a moby wrap before she fit into the ergobaby, and I bought a woven when she was about two months old that I used for a bit, then summer hit and it got very hot. I also at about 3 months-ish bought a minimonkey mini sling (it’s like a ring sling but with less adjusting) and honestly that’s the one that has gotten the most use. It’s mesh so it breathes well and it’s super easy and quick to put on/take off. That said now it’s cooling down I plan on returning to my woven because it is warmer for baby. I’m also looking at getting an onbuhimo but haven’t pulled the trigger yet because she’s not sitting independently yet, but I think that will be easier for back carries until I work out the woven wrap and I am really looking forward to back carrying for getting more done around the house on clingy days!
Thread: "Baby carrier recommendations"
I'd suggest looking on r/babywearing for some advice. They have a low opinion of baby bjorn as the baby can't be in an ergonomic position. I have an ergobaby omni breeze which I like. Tula also do some good ones and are often on Vinted. Definitely suggest seeking out a local sling library so you can try a few (they vary a lot based on your body type) and possibly rent for a week or so before buying.
Thread: "I cannot decide between Ergobaby Omni Breeze, Ergobaby Omni 360 & BabyBjörn Harmony"
we were able to try the omin breeze and harmony at a baby store with a weighted baby doll and landed on the harmony - it was the most secure and we were able to get the best M shape with the weighted baby. I personally thought the strapping/adusting was easy. If possible really recommend finding a store if you can! I am in Socal and they had a babylist store in Beverly Hills but I've heard Nordstroms has some carriers in store too
Thread: "Best carrier to minimize back pain?"
I had back pain pre-pregnancy (thank you, years of working as a nurse for adults) and I really like the Beco 8. It has a lumbar support piece (that can be removed) and I find it incredibly comfortable. I've tried other carriers (Ergobaby original, Ergobaby omni breeze, Baby Bjorn) and I don't last longer than 30mins with them.
