Any bottle made out of any plastic is just as prone to shipping microplastics. We use the Dr. Brown’s glass bottles. (And we have switched as much as possible in our lives to glass or stainless anyway, not just for the LO.) If I understand correctly, the lawsuit is claiming Dr. Brown’s advertising their stuff as BPA free falsely implied that there was no possible harm in the plastic they used. Further, that BPA free claim could be taken to mean there is no problem with microplastics. Seems like a stretch to me but I think most lawsuits are money-grabs… This being the internet, I’m sure I’ll be corrected!

BPA and polypropylene are different types of plastic and all baby items are required to be BPA free. I don’t think their claim is false and definitely think this is a money grab.

(However Dr Browns glass bottles are lead free!)

As a fellow glass Dr. Brown’s user, I’d change that title from “never buy glass bottles” to “always inspect your glass bottles”

Yeah, I've dropped our Dr. Brown's glass bottles, and they were fine.

What do you do if you’re pumping? Do you pump directly into the glass? I have thought about switching to glass bottles for feeding, but all of my pumping bottles are plastic. I just don’t know if it is worth it to switch all those over, too. I also think glass would be really tricky when pumping away from home.
