I have the bumbo and while I have no way to compare it to the keekaroo it works very well for us. I’m so so so so so happy to have a wipeable change pad. The amount of poop and pee that ends up on it is shocking. Just this morning my boy peed all over it. If you’re fine with the laundry then go for the blanket approach but I wouldn’t ever not use a wipeable change pad - it’s so handy and baby already makes a ton of laundry

Same. I have the skip hop for my twin boys and since they pee on pretty much everything, I can’t imagine having one more thing to launder, fold and store. I only wish I had splurged on a wipeable pad with a scale. It would have been nice to be able to track their weight.

Changing on the floor is tough on the back. I have a wipeable change pad on our dresser (bumbo) that we use for every change. I just bought the skip hop one for the nursery upstairs since our room is on the main floor. So now we have a station upstairs and downstairs haha

I freaking love our bumbo changing pad. My son is 12 months, 80th percentile for height and I still change him on it. He knows that laying on it means it's time for a diaper change. He will lay down and hold his feet up for me (at least for a little while ).

Wipeable! The babe will rarely be on it when they’re fully naked if you’re worried about it being cold. You could always slip a burp cloth under them if you think it will help. I bought a cheap non-slip rug pad and cut it to size to fit under the changing pad we have (Bumbo) because it was so much more lightweight than I imagined.

I have the bumbo one and pee definitely ends up in baby’s hair — if the keekaroo fit on my dresser, I would swap for it

Same here! Saved us so much laundry and I much prefer wiping it down to cloth covers. Love the Bumbo, no problems.

Another vote for the Keekaroo and for the BabyBjorn bouncer. We ordered the cheaper Bumbo pad first and didn’t like the texture, ended up shelling out for the Keekaroo. It’s been wonderful. For bassinets, we got the Maxi-Cosi Iora for our bedroom and the UppaBaby stroller bassinet for downstairs. The Iora is so well made, sturdy, and BIG in a good way. My daughter is 90th percentile for height and is just now beginning to outgrow it at 4 mos! I’ve washed the mattress cover a million times and it looks brand new. It doesn’t have a drop down side, though, which I’ve heard can be helpful if you have a C-section.

I have both the keekaroo and the bumbo and both are great. The bumbo is slightly shorter and has more pointed sides. Its material is also slightly more solid - not sure how to describe it; but the keekaroo is more cushy. Both are excellent and if I hadn’t gotten the keekaroo used I’d say it’s not worth the extra money.

Came here to say this. Bumbo makes an alternative to the Keekaroo that is about half the price, if you catch it on sale!

Yes I find it so much easier then to sit on the floor. I also have twins so if I do change on the floor the other baby will attack me and the baby being changed, pull at the nappy and possibly cause an accident lol. Had to do it once at a friend's house and it was a battle 😂
