      Thread: "Are Silicone bottles safe?"

Why no dishwasher? We put our boon bottles through the dishwasher all the time, and they're advertised as dishwasher safe. We use free and clear detergent, but they come out perfectly clean and no weird smells.

      Thread: "Comotomo"

We liked the boon bottles with the curve nipple shape. The bottle is silicone with a plastic outer, so it won’t flop around. The como tomo is all silicone so it rolls around a lot and the nipple shape isn’t recommended.

Thread: "What bottle does your mostly nursed baby take well?"

Came here to suggest the entire Boon system. She's using Nursh when she takes a bottle now, size 1 nipples, 8.5 weeks old. I got the Boon bottles because they easily convert into sippy cups, straw cups, and water bottle with a straw type cups (idk just search Boon on Amazon lol) by just changing the tops. My older kids can use the water bottle converter thing, too.

      Thread: "Baby Bottles Recommendations 🙏🏼"

Unfortunately I won’t be much help because we just gave it to the baby cold. She never seemed to care haha! It doesn’t need to be warmed from a safety standpoint, so we started with cold milk from the beginning. We’d take a frozen milk bags and put them in the freezer the night before to thaw for the next day. Then we’d pour the bag in the bottle when we were ready to use it and shake it up really well to mix the fat layer back in if it had separated. If she had needed it warmed, I probably would’ve just run the milk storage bag under warm water until it was warm before putting it in the bottle. I always recommend trying cold milk first though because it takes a step out of the process when the baby is hungry and mad if the baby doesn’t mind it cold haha!
