Artipoppe Zeitgeist Baby Carrier
The Artipoppe Zeitgeist Baby Carrier is a premium baby carrier designed for comfort and style, suitable for infants and toddlers. It features an ergonomic design that promotes healthy body development and is available in various stylish fabrics.
Pros (+)
- Comfortable for both parent and baby during use
- Stylish design that stands out
- Promotes healthy body development
Cons (−)
- High price point compared to other carriers
- Bulky and stiff waistband can be cumbersome
- Some babies may not like the fit
Why parents like it
Many parents praise the Artipoppe for its comfort and ease of use, especially after trying multiple other carriers. The design is noted for promoting healthy body development for both parent and baby.
Common complaints
The most frequent complaint is the high price, with several parents feeling it does not justify the cost. Additionally, some find the carrier bulky and difficult to manage, especially the waistband.
Parents who want a stylish, comfortable carrier for daily outings. You will pay a premium for the design and comfort, which may not be necessary for all families.
The Artipoppe Zeitgeist is a great choice for parents who prioritize comfort and design, but its high price and bulk may not suit everyone.

I’ll deinfluence you a little. Work got me an Artipoppe because by the time I went on leave I didn’t need anything. I also got a hand-me-down Baby Bjorn and Ergo (I actually have no idea which Ergo). I also got a Moby wrap. My baby was too small for a structured carrier for ages and then she would cry in structured carriers until she had head control. I used the Moby exclusively until she was about 4 months. I actually will get a BabyDink next time because I found the soft wrap so handy in the early days. Now she’s older she’s in a structured carrier. There’s barely any difference between the Ergo and the Artipoppe. I mainly use the Artipoppe because it is a little easier to get on alone but really they’re much if a muchness. Don’t use the baby bjorn at all - pain to get on and I don’t think baby is comfortable in it.
Thread: "$800 baby carrier…"
Confession: I have an artipoppe. NOT the $800 one. I ended up getting a bunch of other carriers as hand me downs or buy nothing group finds but the artipoppe and the tush baby are the only two I use because of how easy they are to get on and the fact that they saved my back. Especially after suffering a shoulder and spinal injury in a car accident when baby was 4 months. Honorable mention to the sollybaby and baby ktan wrap carriers that worked well for a while too.
Thread: "Is Artipoppe worth it?"
There's a really good, down to earth, I'm not better than anyone else type babywearing educator on Instagram in Denmark. She's called "slyngejordemoder" (=sling midwife, yes midwives are used in hospitals for birth here and prenatal care, it's very hard to study to be a midwife, so nothing comparing to US midwifes). She has had many ssc's. She's mostly using woven wraps and sometimes ring slings with her own kids. They've always had an ergobaby which she used a lot when they were older and wanted up and down and up and down. She's very neutral in her "reviews" and always has kind words (even when she's ranting, like about the health care system, the education system or outdated views on child upbringing). She recently (ok, "recently" being September I think, or April? Can't remember) made a post about the artipoppe. She says it's a gold quality carrier. If you can afford one and you like the pattern, then you shouldn't justify why you bought one. But it's not better than any of the other carriers made from woven wrap companies. For some people this thing is uncomfortable because the cross on the back sits very high (and for others it's not just like any other carrier this is a question about personal fit like jeans). It's not suitable for newborns but a couple of months in it's good. The adjustment for the panel isn't very good. A great carrier let's you adjust the panel without and steps. And the artipoppe doesn't let you do it smoothly. I've worn this carrier a couple of times at babywearing meetups and I don't know what's the fuzz all about. I don't like it better than my Emeibaby or the didymos carrier or Lenny lamb. But it is better than the ergobaby or other "generic" brands (for the US that'd be lillebaby, infantino, etc. The ones that don't have a woven wrap line) from big stores. But I didn't dislike it. I see it this way: we do buy woom bikes for our kid. People gosh over the fact that how expensive these are for kids bikes. But the quality is insanely good, they're very lightweight and their resale value is high. We also buy barefoot shoes for our kid which aren't cheap either. And we don't own a car (hence the expensive bike) but at some point we had three expensive car seats for one kid. People look at us like "do you really spend so much money on those things?" and we're like "because it's our priority". You don't have to justify your spending with any other than yourself. If you can afford it and want it then why not.

I also got one, the one with swans. With the friend discount I paid 250$ and it’s beautiful. Don’t understand the hate. I make a shitton of money and am growing a baby. Maybe those other Artipoppe moms do too. Why judge them? I have designer bags who are surely just as overpriced. This thread is a reminder of how toxic moms are towards each other. You’ll be judged for buying something nice just as much as for buying the wrong cheap items. Wild.
Thread: "What’s your favorite baby carrier?"
I was gifted the Artipoppe and while $$ unceasingly it is my favorite over my DHs 360 Ergo. Way easier to use.
Thread: "Deinfluence me with Artipoppe and influence me with the right one"
Eh, I love my Artipoppe but it’s definitely bulky. The waistband is big and stiff. It works well for me, though, and I still wear my 18 month old in it comfortably all the time. If you’re looking for not bulky, it’s not the right one for you, though.
Thread: "Name brand vs. off brand"
I splurged on the Artipoppe but ended up using a handed down Tula a loooooot more. It was more comfortable and much easier to adjust and put on. The AP is annoying bc the straps have to cross in the back. Not so easy to do one handed with an angry potato on your chest!
Thread: "Is Artipoppe worth it?"
> 4) Yes! One of the main reason as well is that Artipoppe design to promote a healthy body development even if you use a carrier, cuz I’m not really sure if other brand do? But there’s buttons you can adjust to make sure your baby’s posture is perfect! Literally every brand that offers a wide seat (which is an enormous list, almost all carrier companies do) has this. This is not at all Artipoppe specific. IHDI has a compiled a massive list of manufacturers that produce hip healthy carriers: https://hipdysplasia.org/hip-healthy-products/
Thread: "Mabé, Tula, or Momcozy?"
You said you like these brands because they are similar to Artipoppe but not nearly as expensive. What is it about the Artipoppe that you like? Have you tried one before and liked it? Is it the chunkier/bigger waterfall style waistband you like?
Thread: "Mabé, Tula, or Momcozy?"
It is a lot of hype 😂 some people love it and the basic quality is fine but there are carriers that are just as good (or better) someone did a good summary in another comment about the referral program. Plus for me no chest strap for a back carry is really limiting! https://www.instagram.com/reel/DGJ5fVNxIdR/?igsh=NjFzaG10eDhlOXRq Hope and plum lark, integra, oscha bairn are all great apron style cross back carriers! (None of these are newborn carriers though. Well neither is artipoppe but they like to pretend it is.) If you are new to babywearing I would follow the creator I linked and letstalkbabywearing. I also personally love the hope and plum social media presence but they are one particular brand.
Thread: "I’m honestly overwhelmed.. what’s the best baby carrier you’ve actually used?"
People love to hate, but I tried 7 different ones. Artipoppe is by far the best.
Thread: "What’s the deal with wildbird and mabe"
I thought I NEEDED an artipoppe while pregnant but alas the spare $400 to spend on a baby carrier haven’t appeared for me yet🤣
Thread: "$800 baby carrier…"
I got one too, and I’m not apologizing! With the referral code, the price was similar to ergo baby. And it’s WAY cuter. If something makes me feel cute during the postpartum frump phase, then good for me thanks tho have a good day 🌈
Thread: "Deinfluence me with Artipoppe and influence me with the right one"
Oh ok great, well by across the board I meant 99th percentile for everything, including length! I’m sure she’ll fit, she’s friggin huge.
Thread: "Baby carrier which to pick!"
I was also wanting an Artipoppe but couldn’t justify the price. I have a portier and it is so comfortable and pretty. My baby and I both love it. Highly recommend!
Thread: "Just buy the expensive baby carrier"
Seriously! Same here. We also were gifted the Ergo 360, a popular & good brand per reviews. Between the two, the Artipoppe is most comfy for both me & baby.
Thread: "Baby carrier which to pick!"
Second this - mine still had the tissue paper, tags and box all perfect - it was the exact pattern I wanted and was $350 on marketplace too
Thread: "Baby carrier which to pick!"
PS start with a Moby or similar soft wrap though - Artipoppe won’t fit for a couple months. You can pick up a Moby very cheap on Facebook marketplace, often basically new.
Thread: "Artipoppe totally worth it for me"
It’s crazy what you learn on Reddit oh my gosh! Thank you for bringing that to my attention.

As someone with the Artipoppe (and I love it), I was recently a wildbird carrier. I can honestly say it’s just as comfortable if not more comfortable for half the cost. I highly recommend. You can use my link for an additional 10% off too! https://www.wildbird.co/DANIDAUB10 Goodluck xx
