Blue spectra is my #1 bestie. For a hand pump, I love the medela.

With my first I relied solely on the momcozy m5s at the detriment to my milk supply, but it’s what I needed at the time to cope with my sudden shift into being constantly needed as a mom. Now, I’m comfortably in my new stage as a mom, and I want to do “real” pumps to help my supply. I have a pink spectra I never used that I plan to keep bedside, but as for the blue, do you find truly “portable” like I could be pumping into the bottles hanging off my chest and carry the pump from one room to another to say, change a diaper or stand at the sink and wash bottles, etc? I’m just trying to make sure what I’m wanting from it is feasible

Honestly others can chime in but I’ve tried three different wearables and none have worked as well as my standard blue spectra. You could buy collection cups for your bra but overall I would recommend still getting a spectra if possible!

I EP’d and I used the blue spectra (portable one) and then got the Mumilk Ella later on. I was told portables generally don’t get the same output as the bigger pumps. If you haven’t already then I strongly recommend making sure you’ve got the correct size flanges because that makes all the difference with pumping. I pumped for my son until 14 months. I calculated at the end that I’d spent weeks of my life attached to the machine. Best luck xx.

I've used the blue spectra, baby buddha original, pumpables genie advanced, and currently pregnant/getting the baby buddha 2.0 (so no actual feedback on that one yet). I've loved them all! Got the most milk out of my baby buddha quickly so hoping the 2.0 is an improvement on that long pull, I really loved the PGA though it was like a tiny version of the spectra really almost identical. I feel like I got slightly less milk with that one but it was still enough, the baby buddha original just put me a bit into over producer territory but nothing crazy. One big caveat though is that there are wearables with regular flanges (like spectra flanges) and then wearable collection cups (like the elvie stride). Anything with the collection cups should not be a primary pump, they just cannot get the milk out the same and almost everyone has supply issues if they try this route. The great thing about the baby buddha or the PGA is that you can use basically any flanges/cups with them, I used my spectra flanges/parts because that's what I was used to and I liked them. But you could totally do that most of the time and then purchase some collection cups like legendairy milk collection cups for example and use those occasionally when you need to be really mobile where people don't even see the cups, so it just gives you more options. Because either way you can walk around while pumping.

I’ve been hearing so much about Eufy. I also have the blue spectra. Plan on using that and probably trying Eufy via insurance. Hopefully I can get mine for as cheap as you did!

I don’t discredit the other person, but I did exactly what you described with my blue spectra. I would pump while I drove to work, while doing the dishes, and while folding laundry. This time around I plan to get a wearable so I can actually pump while teaching instead of taking a break. Might not be everyone’s choice, but it’s how I roll!

This is amazing! I want a wearable to pump when I'm feeding little one (especially in the mornings when he slept long and I'm more full) but I don't want to deal with him kicked the bottles, I don't mind being hooked up to get the power just want to be able to pump and feed!

So, the blue spectra is great but omg I think the spectra gold is the best ever. Two separate motors so you can do different vacuum levels or turn one side off in the middle of pumping. Wish it had a built in battery like the blue spectra though.

I would get the Opera or the Blue Spectra! Probably the Opera with insurance and then just buy the spectra out of pocket.
