We have the Guava family Lotus travel crib. I like that it’s super easy to set up and fold down. Easy to get into the travel bag. It’s super light weight and compact for travelling. It’s basically identical to the baby bjorn except it has a zipper on one side so you can open it up to play in. It goes right to the floor so there is no weight limit if you need to get in it as well. The side zipper and no weight limit is also a bonus if you need to lay next to your babe to help them fall asleep or for breast feeding. The one issue a lot of people have with it, is that because it’s right on the floor instead of being up on legs, the mattress is very low so it could be hard for shorter people to put baby down if they’re sleeping and your trying to lay them down in the crib. I’m 5’7 and it’s fine for me. The mattress is nice and firm and has safety straps to prevent it from moving as well as special sheets that are secured by the same straps so I felt very comfortable having our baby sleep in it. The sides are completely mesh down to the bottom so no risk of smothering even if baby ends up pressed against the side if they roll.

I have had the lotus for 4 years - and with two kids. I like it. It's light, easy to set up, and fairly compact. My kids also sleep better in itthan the more traditional pack and plays we've borrowed.

We have a guava and a traditional pack and play. The guava is nice bc it’s smaller, lighter and easier to travel with but it is more difficult to set up in my opinion. I also like that there’s the zippered side in the guava which I can unzip and lay down next to baby if he’s having a tough time or needs soothing. It’s easier than leaning over for extended periods of time. The pack and play is larger and heavier but sets up so easy. If we are flying somewhere and cannot reserve a crib or pack and play at our final destination we bring the guava but if we are driving and have space in the car we use the pack and play. My first was a little guy so weight didn’t matter but my second is a chonker and I’ve not had any problems with either travel crib. I think the pack and play has higher walls but I’m not 100% and even so my big guy can’t get out of either unless I leave the zipper undone on the guava. Ohh and the guava is carry on size (for most airlines). We’ve used it in airports for long layovers so we don’t have to hold them and they have a safe place to move around instead of the gross floor.

24x10x10 folded, which I think meets carry on restrictions on most airlines.... Lotus is 24x12x8 so almost identical. If you have questions honestly I'd recommend just going to the website and checking it out. They really highlight how light + portable it is, that's what drew us to it.

Someone recommended the lotus to me and I was going to get it, but there was a great sale on the Newton travel crib so I got that instead. It’s much bigger and has the same breathable Newton mattress. We just transitioned to it from the bassinet (baby is still room sharing) and he loves it so far. I like how it’s big and roomy so I can cuddle in there with him as he falls asleep, then roll away quietly.

Have this one as well and love how easy it is to set up and take down, the bag has backpack straps for easy portability and baby is comfortable in it.

We love our Guava! My 3 year old still fits in it when we travel. We used it as a bassinet until 4 months and then she continued to room share until 10 months (when we moved her to her crib) but we still use it when traveling and love it. It’s our most used item we got before she was born!

Another vote for the Lotus! I love that it’s flat with the ground and has a zipper for opening so I can sit by my babe as she plays (and can still be safe from puppy kisses haha)

I vote newton instead of guava bc it’s bigger. I can lay in it with my baby if need be! It’s basically the same size as a regular crib mattress.
